The DOJ Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is initiating an investigation into whether any former or current DOJ official engaged in an improper attempt to have DOJ seek to alter the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election. The investigation will encompass all relevant allegations that may arise that are within the scope of the OIG’s jurisdiction. The OIG has jurisdiction to investigate allegations concerning the conduct of former and current DOJ employees. The OIG's jurisdiction does not extend to allegations against other government officials. The OIG is making this statement, consistent with DOJ policy, to reassure the public that an appropriate agency is investigating the allegations. Consistent with OIG policy, we will not comment further on the investigation until it is completed. When our investigation is concluded, we will proceed with our usual process for releasing our findings publicly in accordance with relevant laws, and DOJ and OIG policies.

Yep, instead of investigating the actual criminals who stole the election, they’re going to investigate anyone who wanted to actually do their job and try to stop it.

Yes, he won, but winning means little if the win isn’t recognized by those who hold the power to actually seat the President.

The Dims are trying to criminalize any LEGITIMATE attempt by anyone in the FBI to LEGITIMATELY investigate any allegation of election fraud. This is Communist Party tactics 101.
The comparable scenario would be if the DOJ Inspector General was asked in 2017 to investigate any DOJ or FBI personnel who questioned the election of Donald Trump. Of course no such IG investigation was launched in 2017; in fact nearly the opposite scenario evolved, where it was considered an error if the DOJ/FBI was not investigating how Trump stole the election with the help of the Russians.
As you can see, by what didn’t happen in 2017 and what is now happening the big hand of the perpetual deep state is evident in the past events and the present events.
In other words, the investigation and outcome will be classified. Privacy and all that.
Ignorance is not a virtue. If anything everything that can be found on such investigations and any investigators should be posted here.
