I wish I knew more about Ross at the time he ran for president.

Many that voted for GHWB the first time were really hoping for Reagan term #3, but did not get that. And then Perot tried to run on our National Debt at the time which Reagan ran up while fighting the nuclear missile war with the Soviets. Then came GHWB's famous "No new taxes" line and Perot shot up like a rocket in the polls. At one time, he was leading the race between Perot, GHWB and Clinton.

What happened next was simply inexplainable at the time but makes perfect sense now. Perot dropped out of the race right at the height of his popularity. He did rejoin the race but by that point, the damage was done and all that he did in the end is split the vote with GHWB and Clinton won.

The dems didnt even need a third party distraction this time around. They used the pandemic as the perfect cover for their cheating.

Trump and his supporters were abandoned by the GOP. China owns key Republicans and there will be more to come. We have no Party right now.

I think Ross Perot’s party would have done pretty well if he had not flaked out. DJT will not flake out. Plus we are way more dissatisfied with the GOP than we were back then.

The conservatives split because GHW Bush still owned most Reagan voters.

It appears to have existed before the 2020 election with a platform that sounds about the same as what we’re talking about here. Not sure if the plan is to take this over or replace it with a new entity, name may be “taken” however?

I agree. But still you will have Republicans that will not join another party thus you will split the vote so that PP cannot be a majority. As much as I want to dump the Republicans because I loathe them!

It is because of Republicans, RINOs, that we lost this election. Not the Democrats.

Who do think the Patriot Party should run to defeat Jim Jordan? For example.

You are throwing out the baby with the bath water. We need to get rid of the bad apples, and yes there are many, keep the Jim Jordan’s and take take party back.

That is a much easier job. Watch what Trump does going forward. He will not fall into the 3rd Party trap, an initiative that Soros would happily sponsor.

Lots of Republicans on this thread who have turned in their Party credentials and understandably so given how they treated (and continue to treat) DJT. The point is this split is here and it's real. There's no turning the clock back this time.
