U.S. defense officials say they are worried about an insider attack during President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration, prompting the FBI to vet all of the 25,000 National Guard troops coming into Washington for the event.
The massive undertaking reflects the extraordinary security concerns that have gripped Washington following the deadly January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol by pro-Trump rioters.
It also underscores fears that some of the very people assigned to protect the city over the next several days could present a threat to the incoming president and other VIPs in attendance.

So it has dawned on the Dems that maybe 3/4ths of the military other than the most senior officers don’t like them and that some of them might be sore enough to want to do something about them and the vote steal...
It must suck for the Chiefs of staff that they never had to worry about this concerning Trump incoming. I hope they enjoy whistling past the graveyard for the next several months...

Hallmark number one of stolen elections and authoritarian governments. Paranoia. Enemies are everywhere, inside and out. We are surrounded by them. And they are “forced” into heavy repression and more domestic surveillance to protect us from the danger.

Many soldiers have a SECRET clearance, in part because they haven’t issued lower level clearances for decades. In most cases, this is strictly for operations and they don’t have access (KEY - Clearance is nothing with authorized ACCESS). In my day, when they issued the VINSON secure comms gear, RTO’s had to have a clearance since the crypto keys were classified. Never ending game of resubmitting another RTO for clearances when the old one got into some kind of trouble and had their clearance pulled.
I don’t think low level and secret go together. 😏
Can’t say I’d shed one tear if that actually happened. Essentially their hoping to start a false flag operation. It would be something if the fbi actually did take out Biden on day one. I think the fbi and all the other bobble heads in dc have his day in a calendar already, probably soon because why in heck would all the fencing and guards actually be up for a virtual fraud presidents inauguration. Something is fishy big time. I wonder how they’ll pin it in maga people too.

SECRET is a classification that most officers in the military receive just because they are officers and the nature of their duties and command.
Generally speaking SECRET is just above CONFIDENTIAL. SECRET is a low level classification with no special meaning, just you can read documents or work at that particular level.
In the classified world, you need to have a SAP (Special Access Project) designation followed by a classified word designation like UMBRA before you are even truly in the classified world, and that’s only on a need to know basis: good only for the area of the project you are cleared to work in - all other areas are closed to you.
Political litmus tests come to the military.
