"Yes" seems to be the answer. But to what end?
But maybe, it wasn't that the lawyers were incompetent. Maybe the stolen election story was embellished?
I doubt they are a pair of lawyers who suddenly got a case of the stupids and became incompetent. The filings make them appear incompetent as they clearly had little or no hope of surviving pre-trial motions to dismiss. There was nonsense such as asserting standing as a registered voter. But if they were not acting out of incompetence, what?
They could have been working against Trump.
They could also have been working for Trump, but not in an attempt to win a lawsuit. Trump was in a media blackout. He could not spend two months, from November to January, doing and saying nothing; not being heard. A way to break through the blackout was to take what were really little more than press releases, and style and file them as legal documents. Brash claims were made to penetrate the blackout and reach the people. Sidney Powell made some brash claims in the Flynn case. Even if not every brash claim panned out, the government case could not withstand scrutiny.
In a media blackout, a significant percentage of the people were persuaded that something hinky happened. There was a partial success. The end goal may have been to spur an examination of the actual ballots and images of ballots - success, not so much. There is video of a lady in Georgia feeding a stack of ballots into the machine over and over. An audit of the actual ballots and the images of the ballots, should show that actual ballots were repeated, or that the images of ballots do not match the actual ballots.
I would note that software that can fix a general election can fix a primary, where it would garner less attention.
No actual audit has been performed. It has been greatly resisted. A real audit should be available as a matter of course, as long as the requesting party is willing to pay for it; at government expense if there is substantial evidence of irregularity.
The software should be government property and open source, available for anyone to review.

Would a runaway plague created by a nation which could threaten populations of an enemy cause them to react by demanding extreme restriction of movement by its population to prevent its spread ?
