A substitute teacher in a Florida school district telling her students that antifa was culpable for the U.S. Capitol riot has been fired, TMZ reports.
A student at Bok Academy in Lake Wales, Florida caught the teacher’s rant on camera during a middle school language arts class, where she fraudulently alleged that three members of antifa were paid to attack the Capitol on Jan. 6, and were to blame for the violence.
“We've had trouble with this all summer long,” the teacher says in the video. “There are peaceful demonstrations, we're fine, until a bunch of antifa members showed up and started violence. This is just another example. They were paid to be there, they were paid to do violence so that the Trump supporters would look bad.”

The teacher also referenced a report from last week that said that facial recognition software alleged that antifa was involved in the insurrection. The FBI has debunked that report, saying there was “no indication” that that was true.
Dr. Damien Moses, the school’s principal, confirmed to TMZ that the teacher was indeed fired. “We met with her and she has been dismissed not only from our school, but also from the Lake Wales Charter School System," he said.

We sure do live in interesting times.
Substitutes have no rights. Keep your mouth shut until you have tenure. That’s the whole point of tenure, to have academic freedom.
So the way to keep a job is to lie repeatedly? We have politicians to do that, we don’t need schools to do it.

Well if they applied their standards consistently across all political views, i’d say you have a case.
But they only fire one side. So its a totaly biased one sided policy.
Foolish woman. Truth is not permitted in government classrooms.

What pissed me off is my 5th grader got an assignment today about fake news. And one of the examples to use was that “there was voter fraud in the 2020 election” and its fake news.
Two things.
1. The school is in the Philippines. Assignments should be about the Philippines.
2. Why would a 5th grader have a question on fake news in the first place?
I answered for him. The teacher will not like my answer.

Polk is pretty conservative. When we pulled into vote there was a million Trump things and 1 biden. Big billboards put up on the side of the road (some still there.. lol). I am sure there are sections but mostly Trump. Winter haven has grown big and has maybe some quiet liberal areas. I work in winter haven and very few biden customers came in. Or at least knew that admitted it. A lot of red neck (not meant offensively I am called that all the time) country in Polk county. And we have the greatest sheriff ever. Grady Judd.. He tells us to arm ourselves and if they break in your house to blow them right back out..
