Rep. John Katko, who represents the Syracuse area and New York’s 24th District, announced that he will vote to impeach President Donald Trump.
Katko is apparently the first Republican member of the House of Representatives to announce his support.
“To impeach a sitting president is a decision I do not take lightly,” Katko said in his statement.
He said that, as a former federal prosecutor, he approached this question by looking at the facts.
“The facts are this: last week, the U.S. Capitol was attacked by a mob intent on disrupting a Joint Session of Congress and preventing certification of the Electoral College results. Consequently, the U.S. Capitol Police were overrun… For the staff and police officers who were in the Capitol that day, this event will forever haunt them,” Katko said in his statement.
He said that he would vote to impeach Trump for inciting the attack on the Capitol.

What if something happens to Biden during the inauguration? The set up would include blaming Trump and Republicans - somehow tying “evidence” to them. Kamala will have been sworn in earlier. Voila.
If the Democrat leadership incites or invites a mob of illegal immigrants to come into the country and they murder, rape or commit serious crimes will the Democratic leadership accept responsibility?

people attacked the Capitol before Trump was halfway thru his speechifying. The people who vandalized and hurt people at the Capitol didn’t have the best interests of Trump or his supporters in mind. Trump and his supporters wanted the debates and voting to continue through the day so the all of America could hear what was going on, not be shut down.
Well, Katco must have ties to China or Iran, then... all Trump’d opponents, left or right do...
What is his home & work addresses?
We would need to have a political party in order to have "hand". The GOP is deserting most of their voters, or at least being more open about it.
