Rooted in equity, House Bill 2170 pivots away from teaching history from a Eurocentric perspective by reforming the state’s history curriculum through an Inclusive American History Commission that will make sure students learn about people from all backgrounds.
“For so long, we’ve taught American history in a way that ignores the contributions made by Black, Latino and LGBTQ people, and many others,” Lightford said. “We also ignore the horrible and inhumane way Black people were treated during slavery and how that history of mistreatment carries on today.”

I would say the dumbing down of America continues, except there really isn’t much to dumb down anymore.
They controlled everything from the Presidency down to Dog Catcher.
Everything revolves around getting back to that.
This is called, curing racism via reverse racism.
The only way to cure any racism, is to make everybody equal... by making sure that either whites are completely eliminated, or blacks are completely eliminated. Barring that kind of cure, racism will exist for eternity. But, there is another solution: make everybody blind and take away their brains.

Will they teach there were black slave owners?
Poor children are best served by focusing on ensuring they can read, write, and do arithmetic.
If those foundations are not good, it does not matter what “feel good” BS they teach.
I was thinking about this the other night - what’s the best, ultimate, revenge of the Democratic Party which lost the civil war? Re-perpetuate racism.
The legislature can do all this plus give every black “family” half a million dollars, and in five years things will revert back to the same state of poverty, ignorance, crime and chaos.
American black culture, predicated on the idea that all problems are caused by skin color, is the problem. It’s a culture where it’s okay for women to have five babies with five different irresponsible men, being well educated is “acting white,” and generational welfare/disability cheating is perfectly acceptable. It also doesn’t help that the incompetent schools (run by blacks in the big cities) and unionized teachers are run for the convenience and enrichment of the teachers.
Let the Gov raise the kids so parents can party and gang-bang.

Answer, the DOJ would be embarrassed in court, lose the case and therefore the make believe talking point.

1) Re-write history
2) Burn books
3) Replace with central-state approved propaganda, slogans, truths.
4) Enforce acceptance and compel obedience.
5) Actively monitor that assimilation into the Marxist collective conscious was successful.
6) Those who fail/refuse assimilation would be sent to re-education camps, to gulags or executed.
