If your business is built on the backs of Silicon Valley tyrants (Apple, Google, et al) they can and will attempt to destroy you if and when you become a threat to their interests.
They did this to Gab. Then Fortnite. Now Parler.
Terrible content of all kinds is available on Twitter and Facebook.
Everyone on the planet knows this fact.
Yet both companies are on both App Stores.
Apple banning Parler is not the neutral implementation of some objective standard, but rather a cynical, politically motivated gesture and evidence of Silicon Valley elites’ disdain for ordinary Americans.
The solution, as always, is not government.
It is to build your own.
People mock this meme, but Gab lives it.

Perhaps the Section 230 exemption was a blessing in disguise, as it supplied Big Tech with the rope to hang themselves with. I think when the smoke clears after all this, Google, Twitter, Apple, and Amazon will be severely weakened, while their fledgling competition will emerge stronger.

I am sure almost everyone knows this, but if you sign up for any new service like Gab, create a special email just for it. One that does not use your real name, and one you use for nothing else. I suggest Proton Mail. It is encrypted and much safer. Use a VPN when you access the email. You can use several like Cyber Ghost for free for a short period of time or use a public computer. The Bolsheviks are going to come after everyone that disagrees with them. Do not give them a link to who you really are.
