U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski said Friday that Donald Trump should resign the presidency immediately and that if the Republican Party cannot separate itself from Trump, she isn’t certain she has a future with the party.
“I want him to resign. I want him out. He has caused enough damage,” Murkowski, R-Alaska, said during an interview from her small Capitol office, steps away from the Senate chambers that were invaded by pro-Trump rioters on Wednesday......"

The term used here for her efforts and statement are simple

Romney is talking about becoming a Democrat so he can get on a powerful committee. There is also major pressure on a few GOP senators from states with Democratic governors to resign so they can appoint replacements.
Also, I expect a full court press on Amy Cony Barrett and Brett Kanavaugh to resign from the Supreme Court or else the court will be packed.
She might even lose to a Libertarian in 2022 since the Libertarian candidate finished in second place in the 2016 election.
I thought she was one. Besides the GOP is dead so I’m not sure what she’s a member of.
I think we’ve all questioned her past and present as a Republican.
She should question if her future is a trip to gitmo.
