House Democrats on Friday discussed moving forward with efforts to impeach President Donald Trump a second time, circulating the draft of a single article citing "incitement of insurrection" that they could introduce as early as Monday and hold a full House vote on as early as the middle of next week.
The article charges Trump with "willfully inciting violence against the government of the United States" with his comments at the rally outside the White House that it says "encouraged—and foreseeably resulted in—imminent lawless action at the Capitol."
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi held a lengthy conference call with her caucus Friday on how to proceed with just 12 days to go before Trump will leave office.
"The president chose to be an insurrectionist," Pelosi told members at the start, according to a source on the call.
Earlier, she sent a letter saying Democrats should pursue impeachment unless Trump resigned "immediately."

Goon squads are the cannon fodder. Target those who sent them.
(IF THAT IS WHAT HE WANTS TO DO!)
Phase one of the insurrection should be to permanently disable the internet by exploding the massive server locations and server substations that are hidden around the country in places like fake residential homes. Google and its big tech minions should be the first victim of CW3
I don’t know if they still have time as it will be 6 days before the inauguration when it reaches Senate assuming it passes the House.
And do we have 17 Republicans who will vote to remove to reach the 2/3 majority?
So far, I only see Romney, Murkowski, Sasse and Collins who will be inclined to go with the Democrats.
ROTFLMAO
Insurrection is down the road that they have taken and not for but against them
Vector in on the politicians like McConnell at their personal homes
Why wouldn’t it stop impeachment, when the only thing they can do upon conviction is remove him from office? If he’s not holding an office, how can he be subject to impeachment?
The only result of conviction being removal from office, I wouldn't say they can impeach someone who isn't in office. However, I'm no Constitutional scholar. :)
If I was DjT the term “twice-impeached Pres.” would bring a big shiite-eating grin to my face.
Historians will look back and marvel....what was that about ? why wasn’t he removed from office, what’d he do to earn a re-run ?
Yes and Republicans in the Senate will impeach Trump this tine because they fear he will run again or be in charge of the party over them.
OooooooH! The fear of Trump is strong in Darth Pelosi!
The senate trial doesn’t become moot on or after Jan 20. The trial can proceed and while removal from office would be off the table, the senators could still vote to disqualify Trump from future office.
Demonicrats projecting their sins once bargain.
Well he ain’t got no love for her for sure. He’s showed her up so many times and she “dun’t like that Luceeeee”......;)
if he’s no longer in office it becomes a bill of attainder, no matter what they call it.
After a couple of years, more than his base is gonna be with him......when people start feeling the effects of living in a Socialist country.....
Just wait until he unseals the classified information on what the Dems (and many Pubbies) have been doing for all these years.
Seriously, what kind of insurrection is it, that gets let into the Capitol Building and most of the people stay between the movie-theatre-hanging-railings and take selfies, and the only *immediate* death is an unarmed woman who was one of the citizens?
Shot at point blank range even though there were 3 or 4 cops with labeled body armor and semiautomatic weapons within a dozen feet of her.
I predicted, we will see a movement like Solidarity emerge, that will encompass the entire range of the political spectrum , as was the case in Poland.
They sure ain’t acting like they’re scared......that’s what bothers me. Rush said they were terrified too. I hope everybody’s right.....;(
