Good question. Another good question is why the guy inside did shoot. Possibly because she had broken through a window and was climbing inside. Are you telling me you would not shoot someone doing that at your house? I would.

People who don't have a reasonable answer resort to comments like that one. Maybe you should think things over a bit before making comments that make you look like a leftist idiot. I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. So did she. Same oath.

Good for you!

But you might want to check the laws in your state. In most states if you shoot someone who is NOT fully in your house, or in some states even if they fall backwards out the door after being shot, you will be charged with murder.

Will you be convicted? Maybe, maybe not, but you will be unemployed, homeless, broke, and broken.

Unless you are a cop or politician, of course...
