Are you telling me you would not shoot someone doing that at your house? I would.

Good for you!

But you might want to check the laws in your state. In most states if you shoot someone who is NOT fully in your house, or in some states even if they fall backwards out the door after being shot, you will be charged with murder.

Will you be convicted? Maybe, maybe not, but you will be unemployed, homeless, broke, and broken.

Unless you are a cop or politician, of course...

If I shoot them through the door/window, you're absolutely right. If they have broken it and are entering the house, I can legally shoot them if I fear they intend harm. Anyone breaking into the house when I'm there, I have to assume they intend harm, or why would they be breaking in? I've taken the concealed carry class here, which includes training in use of force. And I've lived in states that have a duty to retreat law. I don't live in those places anymore.
