This— by the way is NOT THE JOINT SESSION— it is just the Senate. They have to go over to the House to seat the full joint session.
Objections will STILL be RAISED. Mitch and Schumer do not run this. WE DO.

There was NO resistance put up by the Capitol Police (no tear gas, no batons used). They even apparently held the doors open for the protestors!
It was a set-up, for a modern day “Reichstag Fire” moment.
Most of these Republican Senators didn’t want to object but for their constituents they had to ‘appear to object’ or face a firing squad. Now they are free to not object because of the violence and storming of the Capitol
The next four years will be bad. Bad for America. Bad for traditional America allies. Bad for Republicans. Among Republicans, I blame VP Pence and Mitch McConnell. I hold France’s Vichy government in higher esteem.

God is not amused by what they are doing. That is the only Truth I know of at the moment.
I wish Trump would take to a friendly news source or call in radio show or secure internet or some thing and start sharing all the truths he knows and has been holding back on, expecting others in their current positions do the right thing and yet one by one they don’t.
All day I been thinking how Jesus on the cross said Father forgive them, they know not what they are doing. But sad hting is Dems and many Repubs do know what they are doing.
