The founders and framers did NOT "make shit up" and got us a country.
Quit the contrary. They utilized natural law (which has it's main roots going back to the Roman Republic) to separate us from the English King and English Common Law. Without using the principles found in natural law, the Declaration of Independence would not have been legitimate or recognized by anyone and our eventual new country would have had no legal standing with the rest of the world and all the ramifications that entails (ambassadors, trade, military help, etc)
Much of that may not make sense in 2021 America (thanks in large part to our decrepit "educational" system), but in the 1700's...that's how things worked and they certainly did NOT "make shit up."

Not sure what that is supposed to mean. I didn’t say anything was going to work out well at all! God’s perfect will for Christ was to be sacrificed. His will for many of the disciples was martyrdom. His will 1917/33 was the war. His will today is apparently Biden/Harris.
You can scoff all you want, or whatever it is you’re doing, but for me faith that my life is in God’s hands is all I have. REGARDLESS of what His will for me turns out to be. Sure, I get afraid, frustrated, angry....but I pull myself back and remember what I just said about His will and that’s that.
Bible says Jesus went willingly and His sacrifice was planned before creation. I cannot even pretend to begin to understand God’s ways. I’d be a pretty big fool to believe I could :)
Does that include going against the laws of the land? Very, delicate situation you place yourself in deciding Pence’s level of faith when that is God’s place.
He wouldn't even have needed to install new electors. He could have just rejected Florida's electors as unlawfully appointed on the grounds that the Supreme Court unlawfully usurped the Florida election--the position Democrats were already taking and have taken to this day. Then he would have won 266-246 with a majority of the "electors appointed." No need to replace the Florida electors.
But he didn't. Instead, he gaveled down members of his own party in the House when they rose to object to the Florida votes because they did not have a Senator. In other words, he followed the Electoral Count Act like every other Vice Present or President pro tem for the last 130 years.

I'm furious as well. Beyond furious, whatever that may be.
It's just that "our" side doesn't fight...for a variety of reasons: "marquis of queensbury rules," wanting to play by the rule of law, simply too busy working and running our businesses and so forth.
However, there very well may come a time when we do fight back...actually, really fight back.
As of now, however, we are not at that point. A clearly fraudulent presidential election isn't that "last straw." We haven't hit rock bottom....yet.
We may get there, though, after what's going to happen in the near future.
