Saint Paul School of Theology is a United Methodist seminary in Leawood, Kansas. In addition to the Kansas City area campus at Church of the Resurrection, Saint Paul School of Theology at Oklahoma City University has been offering courses since September 2008. The student body has almost equal numbers of men and women, representing many states and other countries. While most students are United Methodist, several other denominations are represented in the student body each year.
I’m sure that is all true, and given the Congressman’s performance today, I doubt his degree is worth more than the contents of a fortune cookie...
I’m having a hard time believing this is ‘not satire’. But if so, does this idiot even know what the word means?
Idiocracy was a documentary. Best movie made ever.
Got that right. This rep must have been to Starbuck ‘baitin’.
Glad you mentioned that. (And, for the morons, glad you womentioned that.)
You mean 52???
I don't know... I kinda liked Americathon more!!!
Well so's The Reverend Jesse jackson and The Reverend Al Sharpton plus hundreds of others.
These are not "pastoral" people but nothing more than opportunists of the worst kind finding ways to coerce Employers of all types including even massive corporate giants.
They've even found ways to terrorize major and minor media outlets and use them to pump out massive misconceptions about this nation and it's hard working and tax paying people with impunity!!!
You won’t find that nonsense at my seminary.
Not one required class in Hebrew or Greek. His degree is worthless.
That was where the rot really set in. Seminaries that were more interested in a "social gospel" then in salvation. They brought in teachers that were not even Christian to "challenge" the students but what they were really working on was weakening their faith.
The young men walked in Christian and walked out atheists.
In case you think I am talking about recent history I am talking about 100 years ago.
Their aim was to infect the upper class churches first because they had the money and were more likely to want a Doctor of Divinity as their pastor.
And then slowly it began to creep downstream.
Being a pastor was not a calling any more.
It was a profession.
And as the large churches, the ones that ran the boards and the schools began to succumb the smaller churches were bewildered at what had happened. But they didn't have the power even though they might have had the numbers.
It was not much different then what is happening now politically.
Dear God, are the SJWs idiotic.
“Amen” has nothing to do with gender. its a word from ancient Hebrew, passed through Greek and Latin, meaning “SO BE IT.”
Don’t mention it.
How about Top Ramen?
Elevated Rawymyn.
I believe the word “amen” means “so be it”, which obviously has nothing to do with gender. He ought to know that, unless he is one of the self-appointed “ministers” like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
Former United Methodist minister making every effort to be conformed to this world.
The “pastor” is a moron.
But that won’t stop the moonies from now doing it a lot and add the “wo” in front of a lot of “mem” in words...
“Just a cotton-picking mowoment”
“I won’t womention it again”
Here’s one they won’t do it to though:
“Only women (wowomen?) can womenstruate”
Nancy's translation of the Bible has it as "Amen/women"
