It is certainly not unheard of for younger people to get very sick and die from COVID.
It’s not as common as in the elderly, but it happens.

80,000 people died of the flu in 2018, some of them young and healthy, and we didn’t shut down the entire country and destroy the livelihoods of millions of people.

Your chances are better if you're young in good health than if you're old with other health conditions, there's no question about that. However, it affects people differently and there are plenty of otherwise healthy young people dying from it.
The disease is real and people are dying from it. Quite frankly the people on this forum who deny that are just as idiotic as the leftists that are screaming to shut everything down because it's armageddon. It seems to have almost become a status symbol around here to make blanket dumb statements like "you have nothing to worry about unless you're old with comorbidities". That's simply not true. Here in Maine, the Maine CDC always states that the person died WITH the covid virus.
I’m assuming that means they had other health issues, but who knows.....most are in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, even over 100.

He was fit and healthy. I really doubt there was medical malpractice. My friend was fit and healthy and died of covid last week at age 58.No co morbidities.
