This bombing hit a court house and a vast area of 911 dispatch. The Mayor of Nashville LAUGHING about this bombing and saying how this is a very "popular" place. Is he saying this area is a "populist" place? If so are the Populist (our side) the target or was this the populist attack?

Exactly what ‘residue’ would be falling on the bomb site? All kinds of crap that has settled on the roof tops all these years.......
To: Steve Van Doorn
It didn’t ‘hit’ a courthouse. It may have damaged it some or debris from the blast made it that far or blew out some windows. The courthouse is 2 blocks away from the blast site.

I had chopper duty for years at a big-market TV station. The concerns you cite never happen.
Ever.
Hope this helps.

The lack of transparency creates wild speculation, as does the media’s silence. If the federal authorities and the media had any credibility this wouldn’t happen. The public is encouraged to guess about what is being withheld or lied about.

Normal restriction for a large federal crime scene that has not been ruled out as a terrorist bombing...Especially private drones......
However, queue the FR conspiracy theorists...Their force is strong.....

If this is true, it suggests two possibilities: (1) that the government is trying to conceal something about the evidence left behind by the explosion; or (2) that the ATT facility supposedly targeted by the bomber(s) was housing sensitive government data, and that they fear another attack, perhaps from the air.

Oh, they never stop.
It’s just gotta be something nefarious trying to undermine all that is conservative. If it’s not Moslems.

"Maybe from running into each other? Or just plain making a nuisance of themselves......? Surely you can figure that out....."
It is not normal to ban news helicopters from the site of a crime, especially if the crime has already taken place and there are no known suspects on the loose in the immediate area, in which case police helicopters might want the airspace to themselves. As for being a "nuisance," they would simply fly over for a few minutes and take some footage, which is not being a nuisance. They wouldn't be flying around endlessly.

It’s happening? It’s a McVeigh type bomber you KooK.

I am not sure what “never happens,” but in 2007 two news helicopters collided mid air in Phoenix while covering a story

My son graduated from an engineering college near a Secret Service training facility. He was on the rocket club for a while. It got to be a pain. Whenever they lit off a rocket, if it went over 500’, helicopters would come flying by.

To: janetjanet998
That no flight restriction could possibly be INTENTIONAL.
