This year is on track to be the deadliest in U.S. history with a total of more than 3 million deaths expected by the end of December, due in large part to the coronavirus pandemic, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

3 million deaths. CDC recently estimated that up to 80% of deaths marked as “COVID” are actually concomitant. Until the real number of deaths attributable to this flu are investigated, this is just another year. More people are dying from suicide than actual COVID, I’d bet.

228K total deaths from "COVID" per the CDC. That means that less than 0.1% of this 3M number they're reporting is due to COVID.
The AP has a reputation for misleading and dishonest reporting. A responsible journalist would state the normal death rate for the USA to provide context for their death numbers.
A responsible journalist would report the number of deaths caused by the lock down policies and forced closures of restaurants and small businesses.
