The Associated Press reported Tuesday that preliminary numbers suggest the U.S. will have at least 3.2 million deaths by the end of 2020, about 400,000 more than in 2019...

The AP has a reputation for misleading and dishonest reporting. A responsible journalist would state the normal death rate for the USA to provide context for their death numbers.

A responsible journalist would report the number of deaths caused by the lock down policies and forced closures of restaurants and small businesses.

And let the reader decide.

Plus the sharp rise in suicides because of lockdowns, sharp rise in domestic assaults from lockdowns, sharp rise in those who couldn't get surgeries because of lockdowns etc.
In fact the deaths brought by lockdowns are probably much worse than the real (not the inflated fake figures) coronavirus deaths.

They would also let people know the start of the baby boomer die off is happening. The first boomers are turning 74 and the youngest 56. The peek years have not even started. As this group ages the rate will climb.
