Nice, except Powell was never working for or being paid by the President.

They not rewrite history where he fired her, they actually know why!

Ah, that’s a rancid fake headline
Trump did not “ fire” Sidney, only clarified that she was not on his legal team
Then a week later he pardoned her client, Gen Michael Flynn....

Think maybe there was, like, a connection?

Fire down the line if needed. President can appoint Special Counsel himself.

No he can't. Only the Attorney General, or in this case the Acting Attorney General, can appoint a special counsel. That would be Jeffrey Rosen, a Trump appointee. The question is will he stand with the President on this or stab him in the back like his former boss Barr did?

I agree that it would be excellent to hire her as a special counsel. However, the actual appointment would have to be by the acting Attorney General.

But this gets me to wonder if her investigation should be *limited* to voter fraud, or if it could be expanded to include foreign and domestic interference with the vote.

This might have the angle that since the Federal Election Commission often has R/D tie votes, she could both forward her conclusions to them and then make them public, so they could not be squelched.

Lot of outright lies in that headline.

I think a better choice would be Co-Special Counsels, the Digenovas.

NO. Trump wants a multi-front attack. I don’t agree with Powell all the time, and I believe she has made legal miscalculations, but having her and Lin Wood on the outside lobbing grenades helps get out information Trump maybe can’t say himself.

First thing I saw - the big headline lie and it was a double-barreled one (fired, for conspiracy theories). The media is just vile.

As tabloids go nobody can touch the Weekly World News. Many of their headlines are so blatantly outrageous you gotta laugh at them. Like the one many years ago about how they found the perfectly preserved body of the Captain of the Titanic floating in a lifeboat in the North Atlantic with his cigar still smoldering. No doubt they got the idea from the NY Post. Months earlier Carmine Gallante was gunned down at an outdoor cafe in Brooklyn, part of an ongoing mob war. The Post had a front page picture of his body with his cigar still lit.

and in case anybody missed it, Trump didn’t fire her, because she was working independently.

This is about as close to scorched earth as you can get if true!

If we lose the Senate, we lose everything!

If they allow this treason to stand the senate is not worth having. I gave to all these weenies to provide support for our legitimate President, If these cowards fail to stand for what they know is true I will send money to dims. lets get it on.

Go Sidney, down with all who would whimper and cry. For McConnell, whom Ive long defended here, to congratulate treason with one hand and beg me for money with the other is contemptuous beyond measure. Not these are do not reply messages.
