Washington is the District of Columbia. It has 11 military bases within it. The entire District being under control of the Federal Government, dilineated to the Congress, however overlapping with other Federal entities. The portion of the District of Columbia ceded by Virginia was returned to that state in 1846-47. Therefore the VA side of the “District” is not under control of Congress.
The mayor can be sidelined in that heirarchy without Congress being able to say anything, as well as her lackeys in PD and elsewhere. Neutered.
If he said anything else, the left would have an excuse to accuse him of stirring up trouble. However the right to gather & peacefully protest is EXPLICITLY protected by the constitution!
You need to factor in that the enemies have some influence, and they are many.

As I've said before, a police state is a police state and one from the right is no less abhorrent to me than one from the left.
All of Trump's voters and half of Biden's voters already know this. The other half of Biden's voters that don't know this, literally do not exist. Again, "plainly-telegraphed Deep State Coup".
Trump is putting US in the streets of DC because just 5% of Trump voters easily amounts to the largest standing army in the world, and half that amount could shut down DC for as long as they could stay in the field.
They are not expecting the kind of Conservatives who actuated the Battle of Athens, TN. Supported by considerably more legal actions, filings and undeniable proof of the fraud— the Election Infrastructure National Security element-— defrauded by foreign intervention. All legally proven, and thus- empowering of the People.
I believe you are mistaken; you can stand up and be counted.

I did not mean that he simply takes over as king forever and cancels the Constitution. I mean he UPHOLDS it.
How is 'one man rule' upholding the Constitution. 'One man rule' means ruling by fiat, unconstrained by Congress or the courts. If you can find a constitutional justification for that then I wish you would point it out.
Draw your own conclusions- and use the Constitution, and existing US Law. See: Heller vs. D.C. for a start.
However, you have no inkling what a real police state is— rather much different than those who came to the US from actual surveillance states and nationalized secret police. No one is proposing a police state— except obamaumao’s shadow government they are trying to install. There are those who will not allow this... ever. I heard that same mistake this morning on OANN.
I have already explained that what I meant was for Trump to assert his role as lawful president for the next four years. Regardless of faithless courts or legislators. I have picked a side.
And how does the commie Chinese taking over our country by fraud uphold the Constitution? I have asked you repeatedly, what is your solution here? I am all ears.

How about a national day of outrage and defiance instead of New Year’s? How could it be made to do any good?

And I understand what you mean. Trump remains in office, without Congress, without courts. One man rule. I just don't agree with one man rule as a solution and I'm sure the President doesn't either.
