I think that’s a good idea. If they’ve tossed it back to the states, then it’s up to the states to assert their rights.

Not sending Trump electors does NOT reduce the number of Biden electors. Biden gets to 270 anyway. Unless you are seriously suggesting Biden states will refuse to send theirs? That’s some fuzzy math imho.

If theres no clear elector winner it goes to the third in line-Nancy Pelosi.
