That said, I hope they enjoy sharing the bench with another 11 justices by this time next year. I believe the Dem goal is 20 justices.
They do not need to pack the court, 9 is working fine for them.
I don’t think so. Unless a bunch of Republicans actually boycott the vote, which I doubt, runoff and hold the Senate, we are going to win at least one of the runoffs and hold the Senate.
By the way, this was not the only case pending in the Supreme Court. I’m not saying the other cases are going to be successful, but they are a bit more likely than this one because they at least have plaintiffs with a better claim on standing than Texas.
