It's very hard to believe that the beautiful country I was born in, in 1947, has been taken over by evil forces so easily, and without a fight. Have I been the one who has been deluded all these years to believe that this Republic that was given to us through the blood, sweat and tears of our forefathers, could survive anything? Whatever faith I have is teetering on the brink. Whatever happens in the days ahead will determine which road I take. If evil wins, I will have a very hard time believing that there is a just, and fair God that would forsake us, and allow this to happen to our country.
As the great Edmund Burke once said, for evil to succeed, it is only necessary for good men to do nothing. If it's any comfort, God WILL BE the final arbitrator.
but I don't blame God....its all our fault....maybe not ours individually, but we've let so much slide by for decades now...its chickens come home to roost....
I still have some hope that Wood will win...I still have some hope that the Insurrection Act is invoked...
Well, yes, if you thought really bad things on Earth would never happen again even if people willingly turned away from the values and ideas those who fought with blood, sweat, and tears had, then you were misled. But I don’t see any scripture that would suggest otherwise, so I’m not sure where you got that thinking from or how it says much about God.
