If evil wins, I will have a very hard time believing that there is a just, and fair God that would forsake us, and allow this to happen to our country.

As the great Edmund Burke once said, for evil to succeed, it is only necessary for good men to do nothing. If it's any comfort, God WILL BE the final arbitrator.

Regardless if evil wins sometimes, we know it will NOT ultimately win. I'm sure the Christians in the first few centuries had to battle discouragement and despair every day of their lives as they were being persecuted and murdered. Even today in some other parts of the world Christians are also hounded and slaughtered simply because of their faith. God has NOT forsaken us nor will He ever. He STILL rules in the affairs of men. He STILL sets up and takes down rulers. This was no surprise to Him. He STILL has a plan and purpose in this all.

I refuse to give in to defeatism or negative thoughts. Didn't we pray that God's will be done this election? Do we only mean it as long as God's will is the same as our own? A lot of "good" men and women fought for our president. A lot of us showed up, contributed, prayed, debated, voted and did everything we possibly could to ensure Trump was reelected and we didn't cheat. We all KNOW that Biden couldn't possibly have won this legally and his presidency will always be tarnished and seen as illegitimate in more than half of the voters' minds. I won't give up for these reasons:

The cheating, lying Democrats (CLD) know we know they cheated and lied.
Biden and Harris know we know they are tainted by the cheating and lying and they have no genuine mandate.
The CLD would LOVE it if we threw up our collective hands and gave up on our country.
It's only four (or less) years that we will have to tolerate Dementia Joe and we've endured worse (Carter, Clinton, Obama, et al). We survived and went on to elect better ones. We will again if we persevere.
The US House, Senate and most state legislatures are a barrier to the CLD fully taking over our country. There's only so much they can do all by themselves. It's far from over!
To counteract complacency, perhaps we NEED to go through some pain as a country by seeing what it really is like to have godless Socialists in charge. When the CLD drives our economy into the toilet, I think a lot of people are going to long for Trump or his successors to return us back to prosperity. There's no way the CLD know how to do that.
Finally, as believers, this world is NOT our home. Sure, we all would like to live out our lives in a country that honors the freedoms enshrined in our Constitution but the corrupt, unredeemed human heart leans towards selfishness, greed, pride and enmity with God. If the direction we are heading as a country is moving away from God and His law, where the majority of people just do whatever is right in their own eyes and only care about what the government can do for them, then we will cease being the America our founders envisioned. We will see the effect of this fall spread out over all the world. I can't help but recognize that this may very well be the world that welcomes the Antichrist and ushers in the end times foretold in the Bible. It's going to happen sometime, these may be the birth pangs alerting us to the inevitable Tribulation.

Either way, I have hope but that hope has never - and should have never - been placed in a man or the government of mankind. My hope is in the Lord.
