Fox news:
155, ORIG. TEXAS V. PENNSYLVANIA, ET AL. The State of Texas’s motion for leave to file a bill of complaint is denied for lack of standing under Article III of the Constitution. Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot. Statement of Justice Alito, with whom Justice Thomas joins: In my view, we do not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction. See Arizona v. California, 589 U. S. ___ (Feb. 24, 2020) (Thomas, J., dissenting). I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue.
I love Pres Trump. I hear that the Left will go after him to the point of imprisonment.
How can that be??? We can’t even get Comey, et al charged with the crimes they committed. Trump never committed a crime!
A major political party POTUS candidate should be seen as having standing in any well-plead matter when wrongful behavior by any party has potentially denied them, is potentially denying them, or will potentially deny them, the office of POTUS, that they campaigned hard for, that their political party put its imprimatur behind, and for which their individual supporters, as U.S. citizens, cast their vote. But puruant to the U.S. constitution, original jurisdiction at SCOTUS, where the nine Justices there stand ready to serve as a collective trial judge, is not available for individual people to appear as plaintiff or defendant.
The USSC shirking its constitutional duty to hear this case. Damn.
Oh well... It was fun while it lasted.
pox be on them...
I am so angry and I hope many of these players meet their maker sooner rather then later...
may they all have miserable, disease ridden lives .....
I'm done with being nice and polite...
This is from December 8th
The ones that count, the ones with the armies, the ones with the big mouths, are socialist.
Can’t wait then til the 9 *ssholes become MOOT as 9 of 16 or 24 on the bench!!!! They deserve POS!!!!!! Enjoy your Christmas COWARDS!
The SCOTUS argument was that Texas did not have the right to act for PA, if I understoood the issue. Seven voted NOT to hear the case. Alito and Thomas wanted to hear the case but also agreed that Texas had no rights regarding the PA situation, so basically 9 to 0 against Texas. Isn’t protection of one state from the suits of another part of what Federalism is all about???
If nothing happens to wrong doers when they do what’s wrong then things will continue to get worst. The decisions that are being made at every level of government, including locking citizens in their homes, come with no consequences. These things will continue until there are consequences. If SCOTUS actually believed not hearing the arguments would come with consequences they would have acted differently. If all 19 states declared independence because of such a ruling and it was believable then you’d have a federal government more responsive to the rights of the states. As it stands now there will be no consequences. Trump cannot do this on his own. At least one state has to be willing to make this real for everyone by offering real consequences. If Trump ordered something at this point, would the soldiers even obey?
True, these are special circumstances.
Well, President Trump plans to announce another run for 2024.
But... if the democRATs now control all elections.....?
>>My guess is that the GOP will be allowed to win both U.S. Senate seats in Georgia. These elections are fixed, and I believe the RINOs struck a deal with the Democrats to sink Trump.
Were that the case, Purdue would not have gone to a run off. The commies intend to steal them both.
Just don’t make that your last words at the edge of a mass grave.
Yeah, he and Sidney Powell are going to save the Republic. I’ve been waiting for that to happen for more than a month. Trump had old has-beens representing him from the start. Guiliani isn’t an election law specialist; DeGenova and his wife are old warhorses that are trotted out to fume and fuss to no avail; and that child lawyer who supposedly is Trump’s “senior” counselor doesn’t seem to know which end is up. She’s a camera hog and that’s about it.
Trump has a special talent for surrounding himself with the least qualified people. When they screw up, he fires them and brings in a new bunch of incompetents. Chaos upon chaos with nothing to show for any of it.
Bookmarked.
Wow, I’ve seen it all on this thread now.
