Georgia is being sued, largely because of the actions of it’s idiot RINO governor. It won’t be joining a suit against
itself.

They certified Arizona today. It wasn’t certified when the suit was filed. I wouldn’t be surprised if isn’t added to the suit.

That is what the remedy will be if SCOTUS rules in favor of Texas and the state joining them. I don’t see these RINO legislatures voting for Trump. Am I missing something?
I don’t think you’re missing something. It IS a risk. But it would at least be constitutional. I wouldn’t like it, but I couldn’t make a legal case against it.
I’d bet a LOT of GOP state reps would end up primaried by their very localized electorates though.

See #344 for my take, for what it’s worth.

It may be constitutional but the states did not act according to their state constitutions. We are not going to accept fraud so it is either martial law and a revote or this gets real and hot after January 20 when the screw job happens.

If they acknowledge the Steal and do nothing about it, that is worse than not taking the case - it will forever cement Biden as an illegitimate usurper, and you will have a lawsuit challenging the validity of every law and treaty and EO he signs.
No sir, that result cannot occur, it is the worst of all worlds.

Maybe someone else will help you and me out with this. I have the same concern about the state legislatures and I have no answer for that question.
To me, saving the Constitution is more important than anything right now. If those legislatures at least follow the Constitution, I’ll handle whatever the repercussions are. In any case, I’d be thrilled at this point to have THAT issue to worry about. Let’s get there first.

Wouldn't it be ironic if they joined the law suits against their own state leaders?Kentucky did.

It may be constitutional but the states did not act according to their state constitutions.
That’s a very good point. If the STATE constitution says that electors will be selected by popular vote, they couldn’t possibly amend it in time to leave to their legislatures. Unless their constitution has provisions to account for when a popular vote fails.
So even though a legislative vote would comport with the US Constitution, it might not comport with the State Constitution. Therefore, electors would need to be thrown out.
Interesting Catch-22. Gave me something to ponder.

That wasn’t where I was going. They violated their constitutions by allowing their SOS and Governors to impose voting policies that only the legislatures could approve. They did not do that.

Wow! Didn’t know all that..I pray God in his mercy will side with us and not the evil rats! They seem to be getting all the victories of late and makes me wonder if God is favoring them instead...😔I’ve lost hope of anything good coming our way.
