Goya Foods CEO Bob Unanue says sales spiked so dramatically after her calls for a boycott that he named Democratic New York Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as “employee of the month.”
Unanue told Michael Berry that his sales spiked 1000% after Ocasio-Cortez supported calls to boycott Goya Foods in mid-July.
How did @GoyaFoods CEO Bob Unanue (ooh-NON-new-a) respond to AOC’s threatened boycott of his delicious foods? Well, he named her “employee of the month” for helping increase sales. Interesting man, & unafraid to speak of faith, family & patriotism

Let's do our part to make AOC Employee of the Year.
Time is running out.
I’m impressed with their rice dishes. Cook up easily in my rice maker. Their olives and spices are good too.
A little bean blow back AOC??
Bob Unanue is very funny.
Headed to the mercado on Friday. Good stuff...
She would close every small business in America if she could.
I wouldn’t give her a used stamp to lick?
They have good products and that ding-bat from NY gave them a wider exposure than any advertising could ever hope to accomplish.
I buy their products more now than before.
Just bought some Goya Black Beans yesterday. Mmmm!
I go out of my way to buy Goya every week now
HaHa, I thought it was that skanky pie-faced “model” that started the whole thing. Either one, I’ve been buying Goya since then and am pleased to do so.
I bought far too much in October and am still working the inventory down.
But for the cause I will add to my stash because these canned products last a long time.
Awesome. This Goya CEO truly has a Trumpian set of brass ones. LOL.
I usually buy their plantain chips.
Need to make a trip to the store that Carrie’s their stuff.
GREAT
POST!
Already did, and have been doing it on a monthly basis ever since that STUPID TWAT called for the boycott!
ASSHOLE OCCASIONAL CORTEX just managed to piss me off with her constant stupidity, so I figured why not throw some money at good food and have some fun at the same time.
“””I’ve been buying Goya since then and am pleased to do so.”””
I am with you. Before this Goya boycott craze began, I don’t believe I noticed their products. Now when I go to the grocery stores I seem to always notice their products and say to myself: “yup, that’s the guy’.
Goya Foods CEO Bob Unanue is a smart dude when it comes to advertising. All he had to do is speak a few words in support of Trump and his sales skyrocket.
The Republican Politicians could learn something there, if they were as smart.
I try to remember to buy Goya when I go the grocery. Also try to buy Australian wine to help them while China tries to cripple their wine industry with huge tariffs.
Just buy on line like I do, their nearest store is about 108 miles from me.
The post office delivers it to my PO Box.
The Arroz Amarillo cooks up wonderfully in my Showa era ricemaker, tastes good when cooked with Goya corn oil. Goya's luncheon meat is different from but equal to Spam, and Goya corned beef is just as good as Libby's. In short, si es Goya, tiene que ser bueno.
I went out and bought about $70 of Goya stuff and put it in the charity bin (or whatever they call it) at the supermarket.
