Georgia-based attorney Lin Wood is getting lots of attention for urging supporters of President Donald Trump to break with the president and not vote for GOP Sens. David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) in the upcoming January 5 runoff elections.
Wood’s public comments run counter to President Trump’s own public statements and wishes, as the president has repeatedly urged his supporters to support Loeffler and Perdue and is heading to Valdosta, Georgia, on Saturday to rally with the GOP senators. Wood’s comments are also in line with what top national Democrats are pushing for, as Breitbart News has reported a national anti-Trump Democrat Super PAC called “Really American PAC” is running billboards carrying a message nearly identical to what Wood is saying.
While Wood made his comments purportedly as a self-described supporter of Trump, while donning a red “Make America Great Again” ball cap, the real story here is that Wood is by no means a Republican and there is no record in Georgia of him ever voting for President Trump—in 2016 or in 2020—in the Republican primaries. While Wood did vote in the 2020 and 2016 general elections in Georgia—there are no records in Georgia of him pulling a GOP primary ballot in 2016 or 2020, the two years President Trump was on the ticket. Ironically, in both the 2020 and 2016 general elections, state records show that Wood voted absentee—by mail—in Georgia, the same system he is now railing against.

Let me attempt to restate:
Who is more weak minded: Someone who allies with an entity or person who vigorously attacks something that is hated or despised for good reason, or someone who reads an article and falls in line with an author on the basis of a single article?
Blindly supporting coup enabling GOP Senators is not supporting POTUS. They helped steal President Trump’s term in office and have disenfranchised us. Let’s hold our fire and wait until we see the whites of their eyes. Their is simply no reason for any MAGA voter to pledge support in the GA runoffs at this point in time. The GOP must deliver genuine support for POTUS and those who voted for him in 2020. It’s that simple.

As if China Mitch didn’t give Obama 80%+ of what he wanted. And that with was a GOP House. The gift wrapped Corker-Obama Iran deal was a nice touch. I bet Boeing was happy about that. GOP Senators are already giddily talking of an amnesty deal with Biden. The country isn’t going to end if these two GOPe Senators lose. They are grains of sand in the history of this country.

I watched the press conference live. Wood was trying to light a fire under their butts.
And I see no conflict between Wood and Powell’s comments, and Trump telling people to vote for the pubbie candidates.
They should have been there. They were not. Why?

How quickly the GOP establishment fan club are to put the GOP’s role in coup and election steal down the memory hole. Graham couldn’t even be bothered to hold one hearing and gather one fact about Big Tech election interference before the election despite the huge warning signs. The problem I have is with those, including Breitbart now, who see these two weak Senators as a higher overall priority than overall election security, which is what Wood is fighting.
Without election security, you have nothing, And if they win, without election security being addressed, the chances of it ever being addressed go down.
My feeling is: I don’t care. If he is pounding the ground, working 18 hour days for a cause I fervently believe in, and his work and words are pissing off people I hate-I will welcome that person to my team.
And so, without really knowing much about Lin Wood other than his involvement with Richard Jewell, Kyle Rittenhouse, and Nick Sandmann (Okay, I guess I knew at least those things about him) I listened to his words and decided it was good to have someone who fights.
I know that even Trump has given money to Leftists in the past, but I don’t hold that against him. It is what he has done for ME as a citizen that makes me support him.
Same for Lin Wood. He may have his roots as a slip-and-fall lawyer, but he fights.
We need Purdue and Loeffler in the Senate to be part of the nation’s firewall!

You’re forgetting that Trump happened. So did Kavanaugh, that was a bit of overreach that didn’t go as planned. The Republicans made solid gains in State Legislatures all over the country, so two seats make a huge difference in the Senate in a GOP that has finally stopped grabbing their ankles everytime the Democrats say boo!
They told those people to throw their votes away!
