When Americans object to lockdowns and mandatory masks, Leftists cry “trust the science.” This phrase reveals just how little they actually know about science. Einstein, who did know something about science, said “the most important thing is to never stop questioning;” he did not say “never stop trusting.” Americans need to recognize that the leftists’ mantra is not about science but about silence.
It is a fundamental tenet of science to doubt everything, including political statements. Science is an ever-changing field where competing ideas are hypothesized, tested, and then followed by vigorous challenges that frequently overturn earlier findings. Science has been wrong so often that anyone looking to it to provide “the” single unassailable answer is almost comical. What’s worse is that those who would prefix “science” with “accepted” dogmatically refuse to change.
For millennia, astronomy’s “accepted science” asserted that the Sun circled the Earth, even though believing so required a universe where planets periodically stopped and briefly reversed course before continuing on their heavenly journeys. It would take four of the greatest minds in history — Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo, and Newton — working over centuries to change the “accepted science.” Along the way, the resistance was fierce — books were banned, burned, and its authors incarcerated.
Galileo, for instance, was convicted of heresy for his troubles and forced to spend the remainder of his life under house arrest. The “accepted science” finally came around 350 years later when, in 1992, Galileo was officially vindicated.

Thier science is what they want us to believe, thier experts, thier numbers, thier hysteria
COVID is a lie. It is a flu like any other, and every passing day demonstrates this reality. The problem is, the people who perpetrated this fraud can't admit it now, and those who have stupidly, sheepishly bought into it (simply because they are too stupid or too intellectually lazy to see it for what it is), are unable to accept or admit their own stupidity/laziness/foolishness.
If you haven’t seen it, check our Rupert Sheldrake’s brilliant banned Ted Talk “The Science Delusion”:

"so why should we let someone teach social science that we know to be wrong in our social science courses?"
Because it is possible that you are wrong.
Science is not mathematics. Newtonian physics was wrong. And social science is a further three rungs down in certainty from science.
Your level of certainty and arrogance about what can be said, and probably thought, smacks of religion, and not science. This is a political religion that permeates academia at the moment. And which I am fairly sure you will swear does not infect you, while the rest of us can see the symptoms quite plainly.
Only religions ban heretics from speaking because of the wrong-think they might cause. Real science loves a good heretic. In fact, honestly, the entire goal of science is to be a heretic. To have an idea that no other person ever had. Science is the pretty much the antithesis of your thought-police approach.
And most of academia used to be the antithesis of your thought police approach as well, until the religion of leftism took it over, with the direct help of people like you.
‘Trust the science’ (that OUR scientists believe)
I often wonder how any Democrats in power actually get Covid. I mean, if they are following their edicts, HOW CAN THEY GET SICK??
Hypocrisy, the name is Democrat.
Trust the Science...
Yeah Right!
This coming from scientists that still believe we come from a Rock.....

1. Ask a Question
2. Do Background Research
3. Construct a Hypothesis
4. Test Your Hypothesis by Doing an Experiment
5. Analyze Your Data and Draw a Conclusion
6. Communicate Your Results
seems that Earth has been misplaced. According to a new map of the Milky Way galaxy, the Solar System's position isn't where we thought it was. Not only is it closer to the galactic centre - and the supermassive hole therein, Sagittarius A* - it's orbiting at a faster clip.
It further noted other "errors" in SCIENCE:
A good recent example of this is the red giant star Betelgeuse, which turned out to be closer to Earth than previous measurements suggested. This means that it's neither as large nor as bright as we thought. Another is the object CK Vulpeculae, a star that exploded 350 years ago. It's actually much farther away, which means that the explosion was brighter and more energetic, and requires a new explanation, since previous analyses were performed under the assumption it was relatively low energy
Next time some lib spouts off about science, remind them "SCIENCE IS NOT MATHEMATICS." And if your REALLY wanna freak them out, finsh by yelling...
When they say that, they mean “Trust Dem’s spin on the science that we think helps our agenda du jour. (mail-in voting, crush the economy, etc)”
It’s never an open-minded thing that they’ll follow whereever common sense leads.
And certainly not for how many genders humans have. That’s purely a social and political question.
There is no such thing as “settled science”.
Science, REAL science, does not recognize either “trust” or “faith”.
In my experience those who bark “Trust the science” the loudest are invariably those who don’t know shiite about science at all.
The media are no more the arbiters of science than they are the arbiters of elections.
They are, in fact, especially bad at both and overtly biased.
“The problem is, the people who perpetrated this fraud can’t admit it now, and those who have stupidly, sheepishly bought into it (simply because they are too stupid or too intellectually lazy to see it for what it is), are unable to accept or admit their own stupidity/laziness/foolishness.”
This exact statement applies to the folks claiming that covid is a hoax as well. Surely they can’t both be wrong.
Granted, but even today, the deniers seem able to come up with better arguments and stats than the believers.
Then they should report and defend them, including sources and methodology. I don’t see that, just some misrepresentations of assorted studies. People read what they want to believe into things all the time, often with no legitimate basis, but the are seldom receptive to being told “that’s not what that says.”
