The Trump administration is rushing to make a number of federal regulatory changes before President-elect Joe Biden takes office on January 20, ProPublica reported on Wednesday. One of those changes, proposed by the Department of Justice, would allow some federal death-row inmates to be executed by means other than lethal injection. Many states allow for electrocution or a firing squad if lethal injection is not available or if another method is preferred by the prisoner.

You know, a lot of times people do not die as a result of the initial volley. Or it takes a while. Often the head of the execution squad has to put a final bullet in the criminal’s head, known as the “coup de grace.”

For Demonicrats or RINOcrats convicted of treason, the sentence should be death by public hanging. And leave the carcass to rot off the noose.
That leaves time for the myriad lines of patriots to spit (or whatever) on the bloated corpse of the traitor.
It is much more “real” than doctors and tubes and a gurney. People should know the bare reality of an execution. Not trying to be ghoulish but we sanitize things out of all comprehension and reality.

Yeah, and have them on a holiday too, with street vendors. Cut the noose rope into one inch segments and sell them for souvenirs and the execution will pay for itself. Making an example of bad actors is quite effective.

I would rather keep doctors out of the execution business. Firing squad is not the worst way to go.
