Jeffrey Toobin ************ scandal: CNN, WarnerMedia both remain silent

The silence can be considered odd, as the liberal CNN often paints itself as the network of moral superiority, and its parent company, WarnerMedia, prides itself on helping shape communities.

“Equity, diversity, inclusion, and corporate social responsibility are moral and business imperatives. A strong organization recognizes that engaging in the fundamental issues of equality and fairness is not only the smart thing to do, but it is also the right thing to do. We see advocacy and inclusion as a key part to our success, and our approach to these critical issues are rooted in how we address our workforce, programs, content, suppliers, and community,” the WarnerMedia website claims. .

Any plain old cubicle dweller who did that on a company zoom call would be fired immediately.

Why would they talk about it? He got fired. That’s all they needed to say.

Peewee went to a darkened theater. Toobin did it while live streaming.

Kind of innovative though. Forbidden Planet didn't have its own font.

Once upon a time, it looked so mod. Ah well.

[ Forbidden Planet ]

A great movie. Though yah keep expecting Leslie Nielsen to go into comedy at some point.

That was long before he discovered his comedic talent for the screen.

Now Anne Francis..........wow - I need a robot like Robby - for chores 'n' stuff. And then there's - "would 60 gallons be sufficient?" (for the cook). That did make me laugh.

"is not a hate crime".

Pretty sure Toobin's onanism would qualify as a grudge f.

Meanwhile, Mark Halperin after 3 years in the wilderness, is on Newsmax. So Toobin on Newsmax in 2023.

Truth > Fiction:

"When asked about Halperin’s role with the network in August, Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy told The Washington Post that Halperin had “been posting or doing a focus group Zoom video on YouTube” and that they thought they “would test it on the weekends and see how the political talk did.” Ruddy added that there was “no long-term agreement to run the show."

If I were Jeffery Toobin's attorney I would attempt to use the defense that he misunderstood the nature of the Zoom call, instead thinking it had to do with “erection stimulation” as opposed to ‘election simulation’.

“Vice reported that Toobin took part in an October Zoom meeting with staffers from the New Yorker and WNYC. There was an election “simulation” involving key New Yorker staffers representing various players in the political drama. Toobin was playing the role of the courts, according to Vice. Two sources said that they had seen Toobin masturbating.

In replying to the reports, Toobin didn’t deny the alleged conduct. “I made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera.”
