Roger Stone-Tied Group Threatens GOP: If Trump Goes Down, So Does Your Senate Majority
Yahoo News ^ | November 24, 2020 | Lachlan Markay, Will Sommer

Conservative operatives and a super PAC with ties to infamous GOP dirty trickster Roger Stone are calling for Trump supporters to punish Republicans by sitting out Georgia’s crucial Senate runoffs or writing in Trump’s name instead. And though their efforts remain on the party’s fringes, the trajectory of the movement has Republicans fearful that it could cost the GOP control of the Senate.

The most aggressive call to boycott or cast protest ballots in the two runoff races has, so far, come from a dormant pro-Trump super PAC with ties to Stone that unveiled a new initiative to retaliate against the Republican Party’s supposed turncoats by handing Democrats control of the U.S. Senate.

The group, dubbed the Committee for American Sovereignty, unveiled a new website encouraging Georgia Republicans to write in Trump’s name in both of the upcoming Senate runoff elections, which could determine the party that controls the upper chamber during President-elect Joe Biden’s first two years in office. The PAC argued that doing so will show support for the president in addition to forcing Republicans to address the wild election-fraud conspiracy theories floated by Trump supporters and members of his own legal team.

“If we can do this, we have a real chance at getting these RINO senators to act on the illegitimate and corrupt election presided over by a Democrat party that is invested in the Communist takeover of Our Great Nation,” the group wrote on its new website, writeintrumpforgeorgiasenate.com. “We will not stop fighting for you, the American Patriot, against the evils of Socialism and inferior Religions.”

This is stupid.

The GOP does not want to be the majority.

It is easier for them to be the minority.

You are just doing what the GOPe wants.

We should keep fighting no matter what.

Smart money says GOP will go 0 for 2 in Georgia.

The Deep State will still get whatever they want with two more RINO Senators, so I expect them to “throw conservatives a bone” by letting the GA elections proceed without interference. Then they can point to their victory as further proof that Trump is lying about widespread election fraud.

This is why dims win-they stick together even though they are ideologically far apart at times. Us? We are ready to follow a bunch of losers to our own oblivion and split the party into factions that only benefit the Democrats for the extreme foreseeable future-but hey-block-chain watermarks is gonna save us so why do we even need to worry about all of this...

You worry about the GOP not being in the majority? Take this to the bank: When Pedo Joe and the Ho are in the White House - the coup will be complete and there will be no GOP majority.

You think McConnel will accede to two more states and packing the Supreme Court?

That is an insane position.

McConnel did not spend the last four years filling court seats with solid originalists, just to pack the Supreme Court.

This is defeatist talk. --- Burn down everything, we are sure to get something better after that! --- Completely nuts.

If, somehow, Biden ends up in the White house, but we control the Senate and very close house, we can take control of the House in 2022 (notice the Democrats were not able to cheat in all the House races), and we are likely to have President Trump again in 2024, after the Democrats crash the economy.

The Senate confirmed three Trump nominees to the SC, plus hundreds of lower-court nominees. That is a positive legacy that will last decades.

Maybe. I’m of the opinion that none of Trump’s legal challenges will even make it to the SCOTUS. But if they did - would the nine justices (3 of whom Trump nominated!!) even vote in his favor?

God only knows.

What a joke. I will never vote again. My sister says the same. Two of my close friends say the same.

They can manufacture some GOP votes just to make it look real.

Explain yourself. Give WHAT to the democrats? What else is there to give? They already have the support of the media, social media, Corporate America, our education system, our entertainment system, Washington DC, and every other aspect of our American lives.

Including of course our useless RINO leaders.

Your analysis is wrong.

Even given all the power they have in the Media, academia, etc. , they lost seats in the House, could not take the Senate, and probably lost the election for the Presidency.

So your answer, instead of building on the momentum we have, where the Media is losing their power, and we are gaining converts, is to give up and give it all to the Democrats so they can prevent future election losses.

They don’t want a majority. They want to sit back and relax.

Roger Stone said on Parler he AGREES with Don jr.- VOTE for the two GA gop senators.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Weird. Hard to square that with his supposed PAC saying the opposite.
Reading the article, I doubt this PAC is really associated with Stone. Apparently it’s run by a California lawyer lady and her husband. Stone was her client at some point, apparently. They aren’t being responsive to emails according to the piece.
This also strikes me as odd:
“We will not stop fighting for you, the American Patriot, against the evils of Socialism and inferior Religions.”
Really, “inferior religions?” This sounds like a caricature. It sounds like the kind of language a leftist would imagine a conservative PAC operating in the South would use. I suspect this is some kind of Democrat operation to spoof GA Republicans into staying home. Not saying for sure that’s what this is, but it has that feel to it.
Also, it turns out the Georgia ballot doesn’t even have a line for writing in a senate candidate. So a write-in effort flunks the common sense test. This PAC is either being run by totally unsophisticated yokels or it’s misdirection of some sort.
Let’s DOOM our country to a 15 Justice SCOTUS dominated by Leftists and welcome 4 New Senators from DC and P.R.
Honestly, this is beyond STUPID.
______________________________________________________________________________________
NO! Beyond stupid is to continue doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result! The Dem’s have lost countless state races, governorships, legislatures, house seats and senate seats over the past 20 years and yet they are MORE powerful than ever before (academia, media, Fortune 500 Corporations, sports, Big Tech, etc...)! What does that tell you? That the team we’ve been on has BETRAYED us!! Where were the terms limits, the roll back of Obamacare, the reinforcement of the 1st Amendment, the breaking up of Big Tech, Voter law reforms, auditing the Fed Reserve, etc....Stick with the same people who have sold you out the past 20 years if you want but I suspect there’s now enough of us who have had it! Done with Repug party!
Stupid?
We are witnessing the end of our republic. The socialists have dropped their masks and are blatantly saying: So what, we stole it and you can't do anything about it.
The people we rely on, that we fought for and voted for, are saying ‘yeah, okay, so... just let them do what they want’.
And you are telling me to keep fighting to support the people who are supporting our future overlords? Why?
So we can boil slowly and calmly?
I'm telling you right now, that if the stolen election is allowed to stand there will never be another Republican majority again. That we will be California where you have to chose between which socialist you like more, and you say I'm stupid for saying pull off the bandaid?
We have Millions of people ready, right now, to fight for the future. Our leadership (Other than the President) is capitulating with the enemies of freedom. It's better to light a fire under the cause of freedom now than to watch the embers turn cold and acceptance of a one party system.
We are approaching a time when we will either answer the call of freedom or bow to our overlords. Where will you stand when the call we all learned in typing class is sounded?
How long until we hear:
“Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.”
How many hearts who blaze with passion will be left cold with apathy when the cry is sounded?
Fight for those who will turn their coat now and you will observe the slow death as entropy claims the last beacon of freedom in the world. At least you'll be able to go to bed saying ‘I voted in my master’
Scorched earth - destroying your entire country to harm a few people you don’t like - make things irrevocably worse.
And actually they wouldn’t be harmed. They would get nice lobbying jobs raking in cash while the rest of us suffer the consequences of this “punishment for the GOPe”. That would be the result.
Losing the Senate doesn't punish RINO Republicans, it punishes the COUNTRY.
Exactly. They aren't harmed. We are. It's like standing in front of someone you don't like an punching yourself in the face and say "Let that be a lesson to you!"
It's remarkable the levels of stupidity on display by some.
The GOP without Trump is Fox News without Conservatives. Within weeks Fox went from being long running king of the hill to losing a majority of their viewers. Within 3 election cycles (the minimum to run everyone thru again), I would be surprised if we had double digit R representatives in Fed Gov. (and they would all be Senators that make it thru 2022)
