President Donald Trumpâs legal team issued a statement on Sunday distancing itself from attorney Sidney Powell after Powell has generated controversy with unproven claims.
âSidney Powell is practicing law on her own,â Trumpâs legal team said in a statement. âShe is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.â

Yes, her comments about them being corrupt does raise eyebrows. She said they should be investigated, I don’t think she said explicitly that she had evidence. Without evidence on her part, I do think this was unnecessarily inflammatory. She could clear this one up real easy, by pointing to some evidence to suggest they are actually corrupt.
