From what I understand of her history, Powell is not given to unsubstantiated statements.

I guess you’re another one who expects her to expose all of her evidence in the court of public opinion, instead of in a real Court.

She is holding evidence for court.
Media has no claim on proof because they are not the court, and if she revealed proof the media would pile on the proof as they invent and attack the proof as a deflection from the crimes committed.
She looked like the only one wanting to fight it.
The clarification:
“Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.”
That states what I have known all along about how she operates - since she took on General Flynn’s case.
She takes on work regarding injustice by government. Her small group of associates, do a yeoman’s work.

Except that she has been complaining loudly about lack of action by DOJ/FBI.

Doesn’t one normally bring evidence of a crime or crimes to the applicable authorities? Powell has no authority to bring charges against criminals.

The President himself made an announcement last week that she is part of his legal team. Whatever is going on today makes little to no sense, and is the last thing the effort to overturn what seems to be the election result needs.
She certainly has authority to investigate and gather evidence.
It WILL be presented to the ‘applicable authorities’ - but until then, she’d be nuts - and a very stupid lawyer - to divulge it all publicly.
Show me where in her other cases she’s gone way out on a limb without the goods on her side and mass evidence. She just doesnt do that! Something else is going on.

But most of this is getting way too far into the long weeds for me to sort out.
It's like a really complex murder mystery with many parallel plots and lots of twists and turns and you can't figure out who's done it until the very end.
I'm getting lost in the complexities, the fake news and the varying opinions and speculation about what's going on in each state. It's not that I'm not intellectually capable of following it, it's just that I own a farm with lots to do everyday to be able to spend enough time figuring out who the bad guys are and is Trump going to win or not.
I still believe the legal route is not the route that will win this thing for Trump. I keep going back to that Foreign Interference (in our elections) EO he signed in 2018 where he declared a national emergency when he signed it that's still in effect. And his statement to Biden that "we caught them all", including Biden and Obama planning the coup against his administration.
Trump's got something up his sleeve that we don't know about and he is getting ready to spring the trap on the bad guys. Just my gut instinct.
Of course, what do I know. I'm just a retired guy who raises beef cattle.
And it would be a service to this nation if she had already turned over her evidence to Trump and the DOJ.
I’ve done some thinking on this, and here are my thoughts:
1) Regardless of how lukewarm Kemp’s (and other Republicans’) support has been for Trump before and since the election, it will be easier for Trump to change the (fraudulent) results in GA if he has Kemp’s and the others’ not actively obstructing things.
2) Powell has just accused Kemp, specifically, of being corrupt.
3) Either the Trump team itself, or possibly after hearing from intermediaries from Kemp, understands that they have to officially distance themselves from Powell because of this.
The goal is to stop Biden from getting 270 and throw the election into the House, where Trump wins. Whatever is necessary, including some compromises and swallowing of pride, must be done - everything else can get handled afterwards. If, indeed, Kemp is corrupt, then he can be made to resign on his terms in a couple of months (and let’s not forget that there’s also a critical runoff election there in about 6 weeks) or so. Even prosecution is possible then...but for now, getting Trump to be the guy holding the Bible on the Crapitol steps on January 20 is the one and ONLY goal.
Meanwhile, Powell keeps on doing what she’s been doing.
