Nope....Wisconsin doesn't allow bail bonds...has to be full cash amount or secured by real estate...Robert Barnes, Esq. had a youtube about this on viva frei channel. Don't know how the cash bond is returned, does court take a cut? $2 million a few months ago didn't have that much. Glad he's released on bail.

Bail is only surety, you get it back (minus fees, etc) if freed, or it can be applied to fines/court costs if convicted.
If you lost it automatically what would be the point? It would be like a “fee to flee” 😁

Wisconsin does not allow bail bondsmen.
