Sidney Powell: Tucker Carlson 'Insulting, Demanding, And Rude'

Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell, during an appearance on Fox Business Friday morning, slammed Fox News prime time host Tucker Carlson as being "insulting, demanding, and rude" after he called her out for not presenting evidence for her claims that Communist countries were behind voting software that she said threw votes from President Donald Trump to Joe Biden.

"I didn’t get angry with the request to provide evidence," Powell told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo. "In fact, I sent an affidavit to Tucker that I had not even attached to a pleading yet to help him understand the situation, and I offered him another witness who could explain the math and the statistical evidence far better than I can. I’m not really a numbers person."

Carlson, Powell said, was "insulting, demanding, and rude, and I told him not to contact me again, in those terms.”

Powell, during a Thursday afternoon news conference with Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, claimed that countries like Cuba, China, and Venezuela were behind Dominion Voting Systems, the company behind the voting machines. Dominion has strongly denied any such connection.

"Sidney Powell has been saying similar things for days. On Sunday night, we texted her after watching one of her segments. What Powell was describing would amount to the single greatest crime in American history," Carlson said on his program Thursday night. "Millions of votes stolen in the day. Democracy destroyed, the end of our centuries-old system of self-government, not a small thing."

He added that the show invited her onto the program, where "we would've given her the whole hour, we would’ve given her the entire week actually and listened quietly the whole time at rapt attention."

But, Carlson claimed Powell "never sent us any evidence, despite a lot of requests, polite requests...

Tucker was looking for an “exclusive” to pump his dismal ratings.....

Powell would not cooperate....nor should she.

Previous to the last few decades, media outlets had to at least cover their expenses or they would go out of business. Now that fabulously wealthy people have decided to own media outlets for propaganda purposes, such as WaPo, NYTimes and FoxNews, they no longer have to care about having enough readers, viewers or advertisers to keep afloat.

This is not what the framers had in mind when they put Freedom of the Press in the Bill of Rights. The almost unlimited wealth of several people was not even imagined in the 1700’s.

As you point out, it was a 90 minute press conference. In order to do what you suggest would have required a half day, or, more likely, a full day press conference. This is a very complex issue that will require many days in court. The press were not going to accept anything they say regardless of the duration of any press conference or the evidence provided. They are coconspirators in this crime.

This conference was intended to give the public a heads up as these allegations have not been reported in the media, despite the information that has been provided by the Trump Campaign. It’s not a secret to them or to those who get their information from more reliable sources than the reporters attending the press conference.

My guess is that this will not be ajudicated in time for the Electoral College vote, so if the results are certified, the electors will select Biden. There is a small chance that if enough of the public hear about this, they will put pressure on the legislatures and the election machinery to use Constitutional remedies to fix this before December 8. Failing that, they will have to lay out the evidence in a prolonged set of trials which can demonstrate that the American people have been defrauded by the Democrat Party.

That outcome can only be remedied by the people in 2022, but that may be the only available recourse. If that fails, we will have seen our last honest election and it definately was not the 2020 contest.

Rush had a really good commentary on this whole Sidney / Tucker / Dana P. boondoggle today.

Fox News producers and owners are going full tilt liberal, it seems. Dana should be hanging her head and apologizing to her audience because Dominion has now apparently skipped the country. And Tucker should apologize to Sidney.

The Trump attorneys should not say one word until they submit their evidence FIRST AND FOREMOST to the court. THEN Fox News and the rest of the treasonous media should find out at the very same time as the rest of us do, as ti what is in the findings, by the Team releasing it online for everybody to see together. Period.

I heard the caller who was crying. Very moving, even Rush had a lot of emotion in his voice, calling out the GOP etc.

You heard that Dominion didn’t show up for the hearing in PA today and looks like they are getting out of Dodge in a hurry, right?

Yes, he was ticked at not getting that ratings boost. All of their ratings are circling the drain. Dont know about Lou Dobbs, though.

I’m with Carson...show me the evidence. Liberals/DemocRATS claimed for 4 years that Russia was involved in the 2016 election BUT there was no evidence of it. Powell can sprout whatever she wants like a liberal, but don’t say it if you can’t back it up. And if you can’t share the details, then don’t bring it up. IMO, FoxNews is in the process of pushing out the last of the remaining conservative voices.

“I’m with Carson...show me the evidence.”

It’s not our business until the courts have seen the evidence. You really want to “out” the witnesses and endanger their lives more than they already are? You want them to provide enough information that the bad guys can destroy evidence?

Tucker Carlson didn’t investigate Dominion/SmartMatic himself. Apparently, the info Powell obtained was ripe for the picking via internet search. Instead of investigative journalism, Carlson chose to solicit spoon-fed evidence which he could then regurgitate with editorial comments. Lazy.

Yes, I don’t think you can read any tea leaves from that non-event. I truly hope Sidney has the juice. So far her claims hardly rise to an allegation level, let alone fact. It’s more Tick/Tok BS that we have come to know too well...I’ll gladly take a hamburger today but I can’t pay you until Tuesday - and Tuesday never comes. The next question becomes if she has the juice, what next??? That never gets addressed. The assumption of throwing out an election in several states is a huge assumption.

I just don’t see that happening. All the civilian lawyers working their rear ends off when there is little to nothing to assure them that their effort is worth it?? Taking abuse, heat and derision from the media and the Craps?? Guess I’m not that jaded to think they are either easily duped or part of a grand scheme without any basis.
