Everyone KNOWS Trump WON. This election is null and void because of mail li ballot FRAUD. That is why Demonrats. Insisted on mail in voting. Either do it over on paper at the polls with no mail in voting period-in any state including Oregon, or throw out all the votes that suddenly appeared with the counters stopped on election eve!
Everyone know that fraudulent activity took place after the counting mysteriously stopped!

.... Very interesting. Once they reveal the times and names of the perpetrators that did this it should cause quite a stir ....

It sure looks like the manual line 2.27 would indicate that logs exist to see any fraudulent ballot changes and who did it.

Then it serves no useful function. Better to go back to machines and phoning the results in. Easier to verify.

Great idea but Constitution does not allow it.

An audit would review the logs, but no one appears to be talking about an audit, just about recounts.

Also, don’t underestimate the stupidity of technicians (and their supervisors.) I once worked in a government agency where the computer firewall manager ran a porn site on the government’s computer. He got away with it for quite a while as I recall.

NSA (not to mention foreign and organized crime actors) will have a field day rigging elections using back-doors on servers processing on-line voting, not to mention hardware and software rigging of various kinds at each step in the process.

I have _zero_ confidence in any tech solution.

Snowden explained how it works.

The software will be open-source and all voters will be able to audit how their votes were tabulated.

We know how to do this.

Yes we do! Then why not? Because some people with money like it like the way it is. The proof is, look at some of our "elected" politicians... There is no way in hell they could be elected given their looks, their personalities, their philosophy, but they are. Look at Maxine Waters, look at Schumer. Somebody paid to adjust the votes to get in.

Do you work with computers? I can clean out my computer by formatting the hard disk, install fresh copy of operating system and re-install all my working programs in 90 minutes max. And I use a old clunker laptop Dell Laptop Latitude E6420.

I am sure the servers where Dominion software was installed are faster by orders of magnitude. An cleaner version of Dominion software was installed on morning of Nov 4th.

It is now all upto the legislatures of those 5 or 6 swing states to declare election was a mess and can not be used to appoint electors.

I hope the USA can go back to pure hand counting.

It doesn't matter what the manual states.

These machines were designed and programmed to steal elections. The log files will log "only" whatever they want to be seen.

Why aren't the NSA and "crime actors" stealing my bank accounts and my crypto?

Because it would be noticed. We can't make anything tamper-proof (except possibly with quantum tech), but we can put in procedures and checks to make sure we would notice if our votes were discarded or flipped. Starting with the ability of each voter to audit how their votes were tabulated.

it would be noticed.

You mean it _could_ be noticed _if_ someone was looking.

We now know there are _many_ jurisdictions, including whole states, where the policy is don't look, don't ask, and don't tell.

It is the combination of tech frackery _and_ corrupt vote counters and recounters that are the problem.

You cannot have an honest system with dishonest people--every institution throughout human history has had to learn that one the hard way.

What if someone mirrored the servers during the election?

Do you think Trump and team walked into this election fat, dumb and clueless?

The more the politicians have tried to “fix” the voting system the more “Broke” they have made it.

Time to go back to the basics for at least Federal elections;

Voting only on the day called for.

Voting only in person

Voting only with paper ballots

Picture I.D. before voting

Finger dipped in ink after voting

Votes counted at polling place under police watch

Ballots transported by police under evidence handling procedures with poll watchers

Tampering of ballots to be major felony with sentencing a minimum of 10 years at hard labor with no parole

If you really think it’s really that easy to erase all traces of software from a HD then you’re the one in for a rude awakening, not me.

I have done it already a few times after getting ransomware attacks. I have managed computer systems since 1962 in 3 different outfits.
