Short term, rat super-majority and untold damage, including 2 shiny brand new states and as many Supreme Court seats as they want, if Biden is installed only a GOP Senate prevents that right now.
Long term...if there is a country left, say best case, GOP eventually folds
and all it’s politicians just join your new party cause you can’t stop them from doing so! 95%+ of Northern Whigs became GOP. Look at Canada, the right split in the 90’s (and the Liberals won in a walk) only to remerge and it’s largely the same as it was.
Fact is we’ve always had 2 parties which were generally fairly broad (in the past), the names changed but little else. We always will as long as we have our current electoral system (and multiparty systems suck and are horrible for the right, the far left is all in favor).
Win GOP primaries, then win general elections. Only option. Aside from revolution/military coup which I am in favor of.
