“Trump failed to clean the swamp, and the swamp got him.”

Yup. Sad isn’t it.

That said, Trump appointed this guy, even though he was anti-Trump in 2016. Trump failed to clean the swamp, and the swamp got him.

Think of this as the Star Wars Trilogy. This year, The Empire Strikes Back. 2024 will be "The Return of the Jedi".

I know, I know...Trump isn’t giving up, and as long as he doesn’t, I won’t either.

But then again, I was someone who watched (with about fifteen friends) the Patriots Super Bowl against the Atlanta Falcons, and when they were down 28-3 near the end of the 3rd quarter, I told everyone it was going to be the greatest comeback in NFL history!

I may not be the best reality based choice for predicting things, but I am probably one of the most doggedly stubborn there might be!

I will continue to bail until my arms can’t move anymore, sir!

I know. I am sick to death of RINO politicians. The likes of Susan Collins make me want to puke, and Romney...well...you know.

It would be a big change, and many people (I include myself in that) are so resistant to change...just human nature I guess.

Think of it more like the Star Wars Trilogy.

2016: Trump takes out the Death Star (Hillary)
2020: The Empire Strikes Back
2024: The Return of the Trump!

Most conservatives are, by nature and disposition, reluctant to change. We like stability and hate chaos.

I’m conservative too but probably somewhat more inclined to consider other options and take risks.

I will say this...if the GOP was a business I would never invest in it. :)

LOL, when you said "The Return of The Trump" all I could think of was:

The GOP is in our hands now, the RINOs are on the run.

Look at the folks in The Lincoln Project, they’ve pretty much given up and have joined the Rats, we ran them out. And we will continue to do so.

*********

Question for you: how many Republicans in the congress (HoR) signed the recent letter to AG Barr asking “What are you doing to ensure the integrity of the voting and counting process right now?” The letter also asked Barr to use “all the resources” at his disposal to ensure only legal votes are being counted “in a fully transparent manner.”

In view of the imminent and existential threat this fraud poses to our republic (and even the GOP itself) this was one one the most profoundly important letters in recent history. Do you know many House Republicans signed this letter and what percentage of the caucus it represents?

I will say, the Senate is a tough nut to crack, it’s going to be the last bastion of RINOism.

But most of the new Republicans in the House are solidly on the Trump Train.

Now it’s up to us to make sure that our State and Local GOP organizations are firmly pro-Trump, and RINOs are eliminated there.

It’s up to us to pay attention and vote in the primaries and general elections at the State and Local level. We learned just how important those are. And we simply can’t afford to just have 20% turnout for these.

I agree. that’s indisputable. What worries me is that the GOP will, as it always does, try to “turn” these people and make them dependent on GOP sourced funding. That is how the GOP controls people (Dems do much the same thing). These “newbies” are very like recruits that come to boot camp who need to be molded into “good soldiers” who obey orders.

A few years from now some of those newly elected Repubs will forget all about their conservative leanings and do the party’s bidding. In effect, they will become RINOs.

My point about the letter to Barr was that, despite its importance, only a few GOP representatives signed it. The vast majority in the House did not. That tells you a lot about the state of the GOP today.

Trump as the de-facto leader of the GOP won’t let that happen.

If Biden becomes president, he already has about 40 former lobbyists lined up to be his advisors or in his administration. Biden is owned by big tech and the defense industry. Lockheed Martin is one of his major contributors. Look for our people to be sent all over the world as unpaid mercenaries.
