Wayne County Judge Timothy Kenny rejected a lawsuit seeking to halt Detroit election results from being certified.
MICHIGAN — A Wayne County judge has rejected a lawsuit aiming to stop the certification of Detroit-area election results.
Wayne County Judge Timothy Kenny on Friday rejected the lawsuit, which in part took issue with the city's handling of absentee ballots.
"Plaintiff's interpretation of events is incorrect and not credible," Kenny wrote in his ruling.
Kenny said that numerous affidavits from election challengers "paint a picture of sinister fraudulent activities occurring both openly in the TCF Center and under the cloak of darkness." But those claims are contradicted by highly-respected former state elections director Christopher Thomas, who spent hours at the center and presented different accounts.
"Perhaps if Plaintiff's election challenger affiants had attended the October 29, 2020, walk-through of the TCF Center ballot counting location, questions and concerns could have been answered in advance of Election Day," the judge said in his ruling.
Democratic President-Elect Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump by 146,000 votes in Michigan during the general election, according to unofficial election results. Michigan counties and the state Board of Canvassers have yet to certify the election results, however.
Friday's ruling marks the third time that a judge has declined intervening in the process to confirm election results in Michigan. Other lawsuits filed by Trump's campaign sought to stop the counting of ballots and asked for challengers to have additional access to ballot processing.
The lawsuit rejected on Friday claimed Republican challengers were removed from the TCF Center in Detroit while absentee ballots were being processed. It also claimed ballots were backdated and that signatures on ballot envelopes were not verified.
Election officials have said they allowed the maximum number of poll watchers for both political parties, with the only restrictions being put in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In interviews with workers at the TCF Center in Detroit, where ballots were counted, election officials told Patch off few irregularities, instead noting only "aggressive" and uninformed challengers.
Anyone that is even curious about fair elections would not protest an audit or investigation.

But to your point, if fraud happened, you could do one hundred walk-thrus and it wouldn't matter. Affidavits don't seem to really mean much because people lie all the time and get away with it.
Also, if a judge is going to deny a motion no matter the evidence he will do it whether the facts matter or not.
In the new conflict a left wing black judge will thwart an honest Detroit vote tally from being realized. A conservative higher court judge will overrule that. An old Obama judge will stop the case again. Musical chairs game. Media will not report any outrageous fraud and cheating.
No chance of an objective ruling on anything. Now (and honestly, not for quite some time now).

Just read the judge’s opinion; it looks like Trump’s lawyers are going to have to do better than this with the witness evidence.

It’s not surprising. The dnc deepstate infiltrates every dark corner of the govt and deep into democrat strongholds. These judges are affiliated with the deepstate. They’re not going to challenge the election. There are going to be deepstate judges all the way up to the Supreme Court.
He's a judge, it's a lawsuit, so yeah.
Depends on whether their appeals are denied as well.

But enjoy your right to question things while it lasts because it won’t much longer. The Left will see to that.
Next step appeal to state court and then Supreme Court.
Judge’s logic is that the witnessed fraud is only fraud if they had attended the walkthrough. And the official in charge of ignoring the fraud didn’t see any. Give me a break.

Lame excuse I heard today as to why the election crew boarded up all the windows as they worked and decided on ballots to count, is that someone could look inside and somehow see private voter information, so they were respecting privacy! Seriously.
More like, two for Biden, one on the floor crumpled up for Trump, two more for Biden....all day and night. No one can see them.
