One of President Trump's top evangelical allies is calling on Christians to accept that Joe Biden is more than likely to take office as president in January.
Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Dallas, one of Texas's biggest megachurches, called Biden's apparent victory a "bitter pill to swallow" for Christians, but one that they must accept for the good of the country. At the same time, Jeffress on Wednesday said that he thinks a Biden administration will pose threats to religious liberty and anti-abortion interests, out-of-step with the former vice president's calls for "unity."
We are both wrong. :)
Jeffries now tweeting that the election is still undecided.
Thank you. Excellent.
Another moron who thinks cooperating with evil is pleasing to God. it:s not.
No, he’s a good man. Wrong this time, but a good man.
The good revren' can go commit fornication with himself.
Who pays this twit? FOX?
This IS a flat out LIE everyone needs to STOP immediately believing one word from media now this has become information WARFARE they are trying to depress us JEEZE!!! Pastor Jeffers NEVER said this to his followers!!!
Happy to hear that. I do respect Jeffress.
The question is: Why at this time as a close confident to the President, did Jeffers feel it necessary to write the FOX OP-ED?

Why do so many Baptists says that we must pray for tyrants in power over us?
I will give the benefit of the doubt to the good Pastor, he may not be IN THE KNOW on all of the lawsuits and affidavits.

Swallow your own bitter pill (of your own making), Pastor Jeffries!
Bump
I agree with THAT.
The Black Robed Regiment had a large part in the American Revolution.
Negatory, good buddy!
Right, that’s utter stupidity. He should stick to preaching about Christ or something in the bible. He is clueless about what is going on.
Becaust the Scriptures say to pray for your enemies.
If Biden wins, this Baptist will pray for him:
“Lord, please block every evil action of this evil man. Please either bring him to full and public repentance, and/or destroy his every attempt to harm freedom, justice and Your People. Please publicly rebuke him and his family and humiliate those who hate You. And PLEASE guard and protect Clarence Thomas! Amen.”
Times like this shows who your true friends are

Some major media outlets are falsely claiming that I have thrown in the towel and now concede that Joe Biden is the President-elect of the United States. This is completely untrue.
We will not officially have a President-elect until the Electoral College casts its votes on December 14.
Last Saturday, after the networks called the election, Fox News invited me to write an op-ed on how Christians should respond if Joe Biden becomes presidenta very timely topic. The headline they chose made it seem final, but my opening sentence clarified that the election results are not yet final.
I have consistently affirmed that we must protect the right to vote in an election, and also the right to contest an election.
Lets continue to pray for Gods continued blessing on our great nation. As the psalmist declared, The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all. (Psalm 103:19)
Dr. Robert Jeffress Pastor, First Baptist Church, Dallas
