Tucker: We heard you. Its hard to trust anything. Heres what we know. (23 minute of Tucker Carlson monologue).
Naw, just shoot them.
Don't let them under your skin. As one Freeper said on this thread but in a very different context: "24 years of having my opinions and thoughts corrected by one FReeper or another has de-sensitized me to guilt trips."
Well said, though not in the way he meant.
Well Tucker, my father taught me a very important lesson when I was 12 years old. I manipulate my dad to get my way. I had never lied to him until that day. After he found out he stopped what he was doing, looked me in the the eyes and said, I can never trust you again. Once you lose trust it is very difficult to get back. I cried for hours. Fox lost my trust. To make things worse, Fox is doubling down on its manipulative lies, Goodbye Fox, you are a huge disappointment.
Well it would be great if Trump could manage to hang on to FL and GA. It would give him a little momentum.
Amazing in this nation of 350 million it comes down to 5 states all with thin margins of 15K votes or so.
It’s Fawkes News, as in Guy Fawkes. That ugly mask guy, that the leftist rioters hide behind.
When you watch Tucker Carlson you support Fox - people that hate you and want you to die.
His monologue was an indictment of the entire “news” business.
Why are people here still watching Fox News?
You may like Tucker Carlson, but he works for a channel that hates you and wants you dead.
Do not watch Fox News. Tucker can follow you over to OAN, Newsmax or other channel that doesn’t hate you and mock you.
Railing against the media being participants instead of simple observers. While sitting on a network that had their thumb on the scale the entire night...
Don’t know, but there are always ‘outs’ on a contract. Unless some cash is more important to you than your integrity.
Maybe he should be the voice of reason on Newsmax, OAN, or a new news site without the corporate agenda that Fox, CNN, and MSNBC has. A voice of reason sitting in a den of thieves only gives a little legitimacy to the thieves while sullying the reputation of the voice of reason.
I don’t know...
I just wondered.
I was not just talking money...He may have a non-compete clause which would take him off the air—I think that is why some hosts go “underground” for a period of time and then resurface on another network...
He needs to leave, but his message does need to be heard...Maybe non-compete clause would not limit him from online media.
You can watch Carlson on YouTube—Non Fox News links...They get nada...
He has a good message, but he needs to leave.
As I and others have stated...It may not be the $$...
May be the non-compete clause...I have family members who have had to sign them—if they voluntarily leave, it renders them unemployable in their field for a period of time...one of my sons had a TEN-YEAR non-compete! Tho I think he could get around it thru a contract position or slight change...
Ex. Shep Smith had one with Fox—he quit and that is why he was submerged for at least a year before ending up on another network.
So do you want Carlson on the air in any capacity? If so, he has to get fired.
If no one watches him, maybe he gets fired and then the non-compete clause is rendered invalid—as would be my family members’ contracts...
More thots on Non-compete clause...

The NC/NDA status certainly could change things and make it difficult for him to continue reaching a wide audience.
For the record, I did not object to anything he SAID on election night, but that he was objecting so eloquently to something that the network he was broadcasting on was so blatantly doing invoked cognitive dissonance. I hate having cognitive dissonance... it is one of the worst aspects of our modern culture.
If Tucker can find an audience, great. If that is on Fox... well, I haven’t watched them for anything but a day or two every other year for about 7 years at this point.
Daughter caught Tucker open on some Instagram account and thought it was EPIC...He does have a great message...Like you, I just can’t abide having Fox channel on in my house.
