Lachlan Murdoch, CEO of Fox Corp., said Fox News would welcome the arrival of a rival news and opinion brand led by Donald Trump if he is no longer president.
“We love competition,” Murdoch said in response to a direct question from an analyst about Trump’s future during the company’s quarterly earnings call.

Indeed they are already starting to give Fox a run for the money with news with facts not propaganda.
Cable is sooo 1990 anyway! Get a decent internet connection and stream. Newsmax and OANN are both on the rise, and with FOX cancelling Judge Pirro, they will slide fast.
These idiots had a lock on the news you could rely upon. Now they are pissing in their own soup.
Might get an antenna, but seldom watch local channels.
If yanyone is afraid to drop cable, try the Roku device beforehand and you will see all the fantastic channels you can get. Cable will only be one selection you can make. You can get to Youtube easily too or a PlayStation.
Some of the channels contain huge selections of channels when you select them. For example Pluto. Lots of free ones, include free movie channels.
The only thing I miss is a recording device. We haven't found a good way to record the channels we watch. Supposedly it is easy to record the local channels, but we don't watch them.
Anyone have luck recording OANN or other channels?
No Fox news in my house, I cut Fox a least 4 years ago.

Why do we let a couple of Australian bitches run an American "News" network? Among other things, I would be concerned about China's ability to influence and threaten them.
I haven’t watched any of the alphabet networks for about 25 years. Part of the problem is that they are diversified. They don’t just own tv networks. And they are owned by other companies that are diversified.
Trump is an incredible showman. If he starts a conservative network, he will clobber them and they know it.
Rival for what Fox? You have turned yourself into CNN with better looking propaganda babes. Your rivals are now CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC etc. The only viewers you could possibly have now are liberals who hate you. You betrayed all your viewers that have been loyal for decades. We have Dish Flex and added the news pack that included fox news and fox business... We cancelled the ‘news pack’ yesterday.
I watch OANN live from Roku.
Didn’t know it was on Pluto. Pay about $5 a month for it.
I know you can get it free from one of the channels until the end of the year, but we already had started paying for it.

For those that are concerned about missing local news and TV. There is a fairly new service that is carried in at least 23 markets and it gives you all local stations in your area.
Hopefully you live in one of those markets and can cut the cable.

Fox’s competition is cNN at this point for left wing talk.
Fox is owned by Disney plus the Murdock boys are married to ultra liberal wives who keep getting shunned by thier liberal community. Fox is completely finished. Not only that but the all of thier news anchors are under a non-compete contract for 1 year. Even if they quit they could not work at a competing news organization for 1 year.

How did Megyn Kelly get to change? I know her contract was up, but I don't know if she had non compete or not.
I moved to Newsmax and OAN totally after the call for Arizona election night. I had been disappointed even disgusted for a long time with the seemingly lurch to the left of the many personalities on Fox and the race baiting of others over the last year or so. I have deleted their app and Fox Nation from my phone giving them the specific reasons why and hoping their ratings go to $^%$^%$.
