I would think the USPS is computerized and automated to the hilt.
If backdating is occurring then there is a computerized record of the change.
These workers aren’t using a rubber stamp and ink pad...
They were instructed to hand-stamp the ballot envelopes.
This guy is a fall guy. He will admit to back dating 500 ballots, get a slap on the wrist and then everyone will say Trump was right but the cheating didnt change anything.

Postmarks are not done by hand...yet postmarks can be backdated.

In the video I saw, the guy was using a tall stamp that flips down to put the stamp on the paper & it flips back up to re-ink against the ink pad. About 8=9” tall.
I used one many times in the various accounting jobs I had over the years.
The DATE IS SET MANUALLY-—and only gets changed MANUALLY...You can use one date setting for as long as you wish before you change it. Just have to keep adding ink to the pad at intervals.
In the video I saw, they were stamping the outside of the ballot envelope. Once those ballots are out of the envelope-—the date trail is broken & Lost.
