Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Friday called for “every legal vote” to be counted and said, “all sides must get to observe the process.”
“Here’s how this must work in our great country. Every legal vote should be counted. Any illegally-submitted ballots must not. All sides must get to observe the process. And the courts are here to apply the laws & resolve disputes. That's how Americans' votes decide the result,” McConnell tweeted.
The remarks could be read as McConnell throwing some support to President Trump, though McConnell stopped far short of making claims about fraud that Trump has repeatedly stated on Twitter and in remarks at a White House briefing.
Trump's family members have pressured Republican office holders, including McConnell, to stand up over the issue.
But McConnell's remarks mostly stuck to the safer line, that legally-filed ballots should be counted.
Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) earlier on Friday pushed back on Trump’s claims of cheating in Pennsylvania.
“I saw the president’s speech last night and it was very hard to watch. The president’s allegations ... are just not substantiated,” he told Savannah Guthrie on NBC’s “Today” show.
Toomey announced last month that he will not seek reelection in 2022.
Trump on Thursday evening accused Pennsylvania election officials of counting ballots received after Election Day without postmarks or identification and alleged Michigan election officials were “duplicating ballots.”

KY Dem Ed Pritchard was convicted of voter fraud in 1949 for fraudulently casting 254 votes. His biographer said: “the untidy truth was that widespread vote fraud was America’s dirty little secret . . .” Elections with millions of mail ballots makes fraud more likely not less.
And this year Voter fraud is right in our faces and the Democrats believe they got away with it! Just like Comey and Brennen, etc.
How about a press conference with McConnell and rand rather than Twitter?

I would go further than this author and suggest that fraud on the part of vote workers should invalidate ALL of the votes at that location.

Mitch may be a Rino, but he surprises me sometimes. He has been great on getting judges approved (or not approved with Obama). Kudos for him.

The MSM wouldn't show it if they had one, or they would break in and accuse Rand and the Turtle of lying just as they did with the President yesterday - US networks interrupt Trump's live speech over disinformation concerns.

China has spent billions to defeat President Trump and must get Biden in the White House in order to get the Renmindi as the World Reserve Currency. That is China’s rescue from their dilemma of the monetary collapse of their economy. The American dollar will have to be devalued to compete on the World’s Monetary Market eventually. China’s efforts have been overlooked by the U.S. Gov’t to take down the American Dollar. The American dollar will become just like the Pesos and Ruble in the Circuity of World Trade; not worth the paper it is printed on.
Toomey is damned lucky he wasn’t up for reelection. He’d be screaming like a stuck pig if this were happening to him.
