This is a VERY astute take. Esper has been told he is persona non grata in a Trump 2nd term and is glueing down the "T" keys on his keyboard.
This tells me the President will order the military to protect the integrity of our election and Espy is too cowardly to carry it out.
Trump was going to fire him after the election anyway. He is a deep state social engineering fan, war fighting not on his list of priorities.
