And we have an update on estimated # of Arizona early ballots left to be processed from some counties:
Gila: ~2300
Graham: ~1100
Greenlee 652
La Paz: 880
Maricopa: At least 250k
Pima: ~92k
Pinal: ~62k
Santa Cruz: ~3k
Yavapai: ~10k
Yuma: ~19k
Total= Roughly 440K
List of outstanding ballots to be counted in Arizona. Word is that there could be a substantial number of additional ballots outstanding, especially in Maricopa County.
Trump closed the gap to 93K votes in the wee hours of the morning. Assuming the outstanding ballot count is 450K or above, Trump needs to carry them by 60/40. The first Maricopa batch (not included in the above list) that went through at 4 a.m. and cut the Dem lead down to 93K skewed heavily Republican. The remaining votes include a batch from some ruby red areas of Pima Co and a bunch of red rural vote. The Trump campaign says they will win AZ by 30K, Rich Baris says 10K win in AZ. This puppy ain't over.
Actually I want the other 48 to go that way. It’s a better system. More closely represents the people. And the GOP would probably gain a lot of EC votes (think CA Inland Empire, farm land Illinois, etc etc). Of course even if they didn’t, the point of an election is to represent the people, and the divvied up EC does that better.
Exactly. 240000 votes left to be counted there and they are coming from minority districts. We only have an 80k lead in GA. Ugh!
They said they will be posting updates at 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm tonight.

Yes! Republicans were gaining on Democrats net on ballots submitted by mail during the last few days of mail-ins, so this pile will help Trump. But it’s the up to 180K drop-offs and the 10,000 ED provisionals where Trump can rack up the score. ED went 65/35 Trump in Maricopa Co. These drop-offs will likely skew close to that margin. Also, a nice chunk of rural counties is great, too.
I’m ok with Maine continuing to split.

Fox News was deliberately suppressing the vote last night. They predicted House Dems to pick up a bunch of seats in the 8 pm hour. Republicans ended up winning seats. They acted like it was a funeral last night, and apparently didn’t realize that the early numbers were skewed b/c of mail-in ballots.

I thought the voter turnout in Yavapai County was low in yesterday’s results. Enthusiasm in the Quad Cities area for Trump is through the roof. Too bad we only are 5% of Arizona’s voters.

My niece in Queen Creek checked her ballot and her family’s this morning. She was redirected to a page that said that - The information you submitted does not match with our elections database.
Apparently quite a few of her family and friends are getting the same results.

I’m in Omaha and District 2 is made up of two counties: Douglas (home of Omaha) and to the south, Sarpy county.
Sarpy went Trump but not enough to make up for the more urban votes in Douglas county.
The Republican Party is so establishment here and they could have done this some years ago but for some reason they don’t.
I’ve lived in Omaha since March, 2013 and I’m now thinking of moving as I’m retired now, mainly to get away from harsh winters.
I voted via Absentee Ballot and dropped it off in a special election ballot drop-box a month ago. I don’t trust the USPS.
The fact that it is “even” close informs me all I need to know.
So called Republicans that couldn’t be bothered to vote don’t deserve my love and all the work I put in over the last six months.
