Yes. And I'm not particularly disputing the bigger numbers that absolutely everybody BUT the SOS is reporting. I would just like to know why?

It's not like the SOS website says "as of 8:00am" or anything. THAT would tell me that they're just not updating their numbers yet. It specifically says "as of 2:03pm" as I type this.

It does report that the data reflects 76 out of 83 counties.

I downloaded the data from MI SOS and sorted counties by total vote count reported. I can see Kent, Wayne, Kalamazoo, Charlevoix, Antrim, Berrien, Genesee showing 0 votes. So I'm guessing there are votes from those counties being reported SOMEWHERE.

FWIW, hoping I don't tick everybody off. I'll post the table here.

Trump said to be up by 100k+ with 200k left to count. Biden would need to take 100k of the 200k and then a majority of the 100k remaining to top Trump. That would make it 75%+. Don’t think that’s likely especially as GA SOS is a stickler for making sure the votes are legal.

Rudy G. this morning sounded like a beaten man when he said that his recommendation last night have been to seek an immediate injunction so that such mail-in ballot counts would be stopped until not only could a fed-named monitor supervisor be named, but records of all such ballots could be kept for subsequent checking.

That opportunity is gone and Rudy couldn’t offer any strong hope that Trump was going to get tougher today.

Ok. I think I understand the MI SOS site now. I took all of the counties that SOS is reporting 0 votes and went to their county websites to get individual election results. THAT is probably where the media is getting their numbers. I had the following at 0:

County/Biden/Trump

Kent - 141078 / 153472
Wayne - 519809 / 244853
Kalamazoo - 66090 / 53686
Charlevoix - 6939 / 9841
Antrim - 0 / 0 (couldn’t find any results)
Berrien - 36451 / 43148
Genesee - 36133 / 53964

Total (including all other counties that SOS DOES have):
Biden: 2,572,913
Trump: 2,559,085

That’s just what I found myself. I’m guessing that Antrim is out there somewhere as well.

So to me, that totally explains why MI SOS differs from all other news accounts.

If it’s just msm projections, taking half a million from one side and putting it in the other column seems extreme. Kinda like them polls with Biden +17.

Very interesting. Thanks for the link. Their explanations of "soiled" ballots seem benign enough, but this kind of made me think:

Michigan is one of only a few states where voters who have sent in an absentee ballot can go to the clerk and retrieve it, up to the day before Election Day, spoil it, and fill out a new ballot.

It made me think about whether they have votes that SHOULD have been spoiled but weren't. In other words, voter votes absentee, "forgets" to spoil it, goes to polls and votes again. Does their poll-site verification catch that? A double-count. I'd be on the lookout for double-counts. Specifically Wayne County.
