This is new but I see what they did. It’s like what the stock market does when it goes into free fall; the automatic stops kick in and trading is halted. The voting wasn’t going the way the Dems liked so they halted voting.
In a much younger life, I worked in concrete. I was a concrete finisher. You "poured" the concrete. Leveled it, and started troweling a finish on it. On a hot day, it became hard very quickly. There were no lunch breaks. There were no.."we'll come back tomorrows". You worked your ass off because there was no second chances.
Coming back tomorrow is bull stuffings. Americans are entitled to results. And if you have to work until 3:00 am, you work until 3:00 am. It should have been clear that this was your responsibility when you signed on to the gig.

If that was what Trump was saying, I don’t see how anyone could disagree. If he came out and said he would use the courts to make sure the election was fair and no new voting was allowed, fine. But I didn’t hear that. He was calling that there was already fraud and he was stopping the counting and taking it to the Supreme Court.

I agree! Keep counting all night! With oversight, cameras, etc. stop making me out to be an enemy. No matter how intellectually impaired you find me, I’m on your side.

That’s why I’ve noted that the Court very likely wouldn’t even take it up at this point. They won’t stop the count from proceeding unless proof of illegalities exists.

It is not the counting of ballots already cast that is the issue, it’s an attempt by these states to continue to allow new ballots after Election Day is over.
FUNNY how ALL the other states got their ballots counted BUT the swing states just couldn’t count and went home REALLY!!! This SUCKS to high heaven!!!
Well I assume security guards and some election workers will stay at the vote counting sites overnight and secure the ballots and facilities until vote counters return in the morning. They won’t just lock it up and all go home. Some security people will stay there for sure.
I’m frustrated right now. I feel there is something I’m not understanding. And I might (stupid though I am) actually be more civics informed than most of my fellow American voters. I don’t want some to misunderstand and cause violence.
